Purple Happy Rancher

I tried this strain based upon the recommendation of the budtender at The Novel Tree in Bellevue. It tastes great, smells delicious, and the high is very relaxed, clear, and euphoric. At first it feels a bit sativa-like because you don't feel couch locked or sleepy. However, after a couple of hours I drifted off to a nice sleep. Overall, a very happy high. Highly recommended!

The Novel Tree - Bellevue

Definitely the nicest recreational store in the Seattle area. The atmosphere is inviting, well lit, and clean, and the employees are professional, well groomed, and knowledgeable. The selection was fantastic and the weed quality appears to be as good as it gets in a Washington rec store. If you have a friend or spouse that retains a stereotypical impression of the cannabis scene, bring him or her along the next time you visit the Novel Tree; it feels like a Starbucks for weed.

Tried this strain last night for the first time. The high was very relaxed, happy, and euphoric. I found it to be a perfect late evening buzz. The flavor and aroma was all berry. The sample I tried was grown by Buddy Boy Farms and purchased at Sativa Sisters in Spokane. I will definitely be purchasing more of this outstanding herb!

Sativa Sisters - Spokane Valley

I visited most of the recreational stores in Spokane during a two day visit from Montana. The store is very clean, well lit, and nicely laid out. There is a coffee shop in the same building that was also very clean and inviting. No, you cannot blaze in there like a coffee shop in the Amsterdam. The actual facility is the nicest I encountered during my visit. The strain selection was decent and the help was courteous. However, this was another shop where you get the impression that not all of the staff actually uses cannabis. The older woman helping me was nice but her strain information and advice all seemed to have been derived from what she has been told rather than from personal experience. I prefer dealing with bud tenders who clearly love cannabis and have first hand experience with the strains they offer. The prices were average. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving Sativa Sisters a visit.

Cinder - Spokane Valley

I visited most of the recreational stores in Spokane during a two day visit from Montana. The staff here was friendly and knowledgeable and I liked the big screen display with strains and pricing. Their prices were the most aggressive I saw during my visit. However, they only had six strain choices when I was there and none of it is visibly displayed. They were apparently getting more stock over the next few days. Overall, the vibe was pretty good, the guys were knowledgeable, friendly and personable, and the prices were comparatively low. I would definitely give them another visit next time i"m in town.

Greenlight - Spokane

I visited most of the recreational stores during a two day visit to Spokane from Montana. My initial impression upon walking in the store was that it was very dark inside. However, once my eyes adjusted, it proved to have a very pleasant and relaxing ambience. The strain selection was the best of the stores I visited and I liked how the inventory was displayed in glass cases for customer viewing. They had a nice selection that is different and, IMO, better than Sativa Sisters down the block. However, the best part of the store is the employees. I was helped by two cute, friendly, gregarious girls who clearly enjoy good herb and their job and made the whole experience really fun and enjoyable. Some of the local stores seem to be staffed by people who do not actually use cannabis themselves, which I found makes the shopping experience very odd. The vibe, strain selection, layout, and employee fun factor made this my favorite recreational cannabis shopping experience in Spokane.
