I placed a pre-order yesterday for Blue Dream—a rare strain to find in Florida and one of the few that helps my productivity.
Today, after driving 35 minutes (one-way), I arrive to find out that harvest as an actually have pre-orders!
They basically have same-day pick up holds… so they cancel and restock your order if you’re not there before close of business. This wasn’t explained when I placed the order. There was no warning in the confirmation text.
Instead, I spent 70 minutes driving in rain and traffic to find out that Harvest cancelled my order. They are now out of the only strain I care to buy.
No other dispensary cancels orders on the same day they’re placed. Trulieve keeps pre-orders at least 48 hours after an order is filled.
So why don’t you stop calling it a pre-order and call it what it is—a same day product hold? You could at least tell customers how long they have to pick up an order… so they don’t spend 35 minutes driving home thinking about how much they hate your dispensary.
