Delicious 😋 strain. Bud tender recommended the Badder (here in IL), I found that and the flower- in popcorn buds. The limonene & terpinolene are the magic here. I see what all the fuss is about. Almost a bubblegum/bananas taste. Fruity Indica (my 1/4 tested at 28%), fits into a category I call “functional Indicas”. Fine for daytime smoke, and not racy at all, so fine for nighttime too.

Would love to shake the grower’s hand. Hammerhead is hard to find — only 13 Leafly reviews as I type this on 4/3/18. I pounce on it, and suggest you do too, whenever it’s available.
Call me crazy but post-grind, HH almost smells like pickles. Wtf, you say ? It does - sometimes “piney” and “earthy” just don’t cut it for me lol.
Noticeably SMOOTH, can rip big ol’ fashioned bong pulls without coughing, a much appreciated quality by this Hacker.
I primarily smoke for: PAIN, INSOMNIA, ANXIETY, and have for about 25 years. This is an uncommonly effective strain for pain. The fact that it probably leans Indica doesn’t hurt at bedtime either. But don’t let that spook you, #CouchLockCrowd. If you wanna smoke it pre-yoga or staff meeting, you’re fine. Mostly mellow body effects with a nice gentle head high.
Cannot emphasize enough how QUICKLY Hammerhead HITS. Pain begins to fade (not disappear, trying to keep it real here) almost on the first exhale. It’s sounds like bullshit, I thought so too. But it’s an amazing, and most definitely medicinal, strain.
(Crooning)...I GOTTA GIRRRLLLL, AND HER NAME IS TANGIE....Maybe it's the smell. I don't know. There's just something about Tangie. If caffeinated orange juice could also chill you out and cheer you up. How bout that ?
I'm a pretty devoted indica fan, mostly in search of help for insomnia, anxiety, a touch o' depresh, and chronic back & neck pain. Love stuff that slows the mind and dulls/numbs pain. BUT !! I dare ya to crack open some fresh Tangie and not smile.
