Cannatonic

7/17/2017
G E T T H I S S T R A I N. Weedana, THC 8%, CBD 9.9%. As a guy who has to deal with ups and downs of Generalized Anxiety, I was doing this whole cannabis thing wrong. Higher THC content isn't the best thing for anxiety. I've read that 1:1 CBD / THC ratio is what to shoot for. Strains that are over 21% THC aren't enjoyable for me. This cannatonic is the strain I've been looking for. Cannatonic was just delightful. I don't detect very strong smell or taste while smoking, but smelling it in the jar/bag gives a great earthy aroma. I'm almost through my first gram and know I'll be buying much more in the months ahead. Despite the 'low' THC of less than 9%, this does provide a very VERY nice Jacuzzi-like effect on the brain while leaving your body pretty much intact (I did chores outside and had a good day). And the CBD makes my anxiety a rumor. I've also sensing a nice little tingle in my butt/hip area. I haven't enjoyed a new strain like this in a long time.

Dutch Treat

4/13/2016
Finally getting around to this long time staple strain. I prefer an indica-dom hybrid (and indicas in general over sativas) but thought I'd try a sativa-dominant strain like Dutch Treat. It has a very clean inhale / taste. Very nice fruity smell out of the container. At just 15.x% THC I was surprised to experience a very pleasant combination mind/body coolness with only one small pipe bowl. I will definitely add this strain to my favorites.

Pineapple Chunk

3/12/2016
Really a 3.5 / 5.0 for me. Pineapple Chunk by Sky High Gardens, THC 23.09% at Herb(n) Elements Seattle. So, it is a powerful strain at nearly 25% THC. One does reminisce of a pineapple taste especially on the exhale. Buds were really nice and sticky; very compact and fun to tear apart on the way to the grinder. Great smelling buds! One of my favorite smelling right outta the jar. It is a pretty smooth smoke. It's a Hybrid, and leans a bit more on the Sativa side of the spectrum, whereas I personally prefer an Indica. It made me a little jittery or anxious, particularly my first couple sessions with it. I probably won't try it again - For a sativa-leaning Hybrid, I LOVE Gorilla Glue #4 or Blue Dream over Pineapple Chunk.

Granddaddy Purple

Oh, me likey. Cracking open the container you get a subtle berry aroma. Very pleasing. The THC content of my strain was around 23%. And man, that is a very nice 23%. It says to me, "Oh, you like that? How about tthhhhiiisssssss....?" More of a body high for me. When inhaling, the flavor somehow becomes ... peppery? Spicy? Probably a new first choice strain.

Hindu Kush

Mine is from GTP. 20.5% THC provides a very noticable relaxation within three hits. Tastes piney and outdoorsy. Picked up by a budtender's array of indica options he kindly put before me. It's doing a nice job for / to / on me.

GG4

10/22/2015
Giving GG4 a 4.5 out of 5. This strain, with THC nearing the mid-20s will, simply, put you on your ass. Great I-don't-care-about-anything kind of high. Its taste is so-so (hard to identify really) but it's on my admittedly short list of 5 fave strains

Death Star

3/29/2015
It's a good strain to have at night, but it's really nothing special, besides its affordability ($15/g recreational). I doubt I'll buy it again, myself.

Cinex

3/29/2015
I really like Cinex. It has a really nice outdoorsy, fresh, windblown smell. It's a nice day high, I'll come back to Cinex again.

Agent Orange

I really liked this strain. The orange aroma and flavor is really great and it's an affordable strain. Nice mellow high.
