Nectar is a really nice dispensary, with a good selection of leaf, vaporizer, and edible products. The vibe here is "classy", a good way for this dispensary to differentiate itself when sandwiched between two competitors, one "hippy" in vibe and one that's more "modern", but seems a bit clinical. This market positioning works well with the Irvington, Grant, Hollywood, and Laurelhurst neighborhoods all within easy driving range. It seems to be well positioned should the OLCC decide to give dispensary owners first bite at legalized cannabis licenses after legalization happens this November. Parking is good, with a small (about six cars) lot on premises. In addition, there's also ample on-street parking on a stretch of Sandy that's usually unoccupied (I've actually never needed to use the lot). The staff are as good as any I've seen in other dispensaries, and a damn sight better than those in many. No hard sell, suggestions are thoughtful, and questions are answered pretty quickly with a minimum of bullshit. The products themselves are nicely arranged in their cases, though a case (refrigerated?) devoted to edibles would give the patient a better view of their selection in this area. Both the leaf product and the edibles are very fresh. And what one pays is in line with other dispensaries. The quality is good. The cost is right. The people are friendly and the place is classy... What's not to like?
