Georgia Pie is definitely worth picking up, and is my new favorite. Chronic pain just melted, without any couch lock. Tastes and smells amazing. 10/10.
This indica dominant strain is a cross between White Diesel and Georgia Pine. Upon opening, the nostrils are hit with strong skunk smell that will fill the room. A closer smell reveals intense pine smells. Buds are medium sized and very earthy in appearance. Green shades vary from lime to nearly orange. Red hairs cover portions of the buds and buds are very frosty. Trichomes on the batch I got are a nice golden color, possibly contributing to its indica dominant effects.
This strain is a 5 star product for those seeking relief from pain and anxiety. Stress dissipates with 2 hits and pain with 3-5 in an experienced patient. Even with strong relaxation users will not be couch locked or too sedated, but will likely get to sleep easily.
The smoke is easy to inhale and makes the airway relax, making it easier to breath(I have asthma). The pine is all that can really be tasted with these buds. It's not the most desirable taste, but isn't bad or harsh by any means. This is most likely personal preference.
Smell is minimal while burning and won't likely offend the neighbors. The bag will smell more than the bowl and is probably the most unique quality of Apocalypto. This is a great strain that deserves more recognition, especially for it's pain relieving abilities without too much inebriation. I shared some with an elderly pain patient with little experience and they were not overwhelmed while I experienced relief, even with a high tolerance.
The only negative would be VERY dry eyes. I didn't prefer the flavor, but wasn't bad enough to skip on this strain.
