A lost shady contact who grew organic cannabis in their backyard supplied me with an ounce of Super Lemon Haze - but in reality, it was an ounce of weed that was completely wet, having very little curing time. However, I persisted that I would smoke it and nothing was going to stop my mouth from meeting the bong. The buds were amazing looking. One thing I remember distinctly about it is that there were little golden yellow balls that were situated sparingly across the buds, giving it a fantastic look, with the rest of the weed looking an amazing green colour. This is the only strain that I can actually distinctly identify a smell, as I could actually smell the lemon and it was a very pleasant odour. The high was probably one of my most memorable. I was doing a big exam for university late at night and brought along this ounce of weed. We rolled the ounce up into about two dozen joints and smoked a joint every 15 minutes. The high was so clear but it really knocks you down when you overdo it. The high was energetic and one of those 'I wonder what would happen if' moods where you create silly scenarios, but the SLH would make you actually do it. Most likely my most memorable series of highs have come from this strain. Not the best high, but as far as tolerance goes over smoking an ounce, this was the best.

With American Beauty being my favourite movie and all, it was the initial kick that got me into giving weed a go and removing the junkie perception I had of people who smoked. G13 was the first strain that I knew of, and as a result I knew I had to smoke it. G13 gives you a great, long lasting high. The effects are strongly indica and I'd estimate gives you around 20 minutes of a clear-headed high until you become tired and have a great sleep, often waking up still high. My favourite Indica-dominant and once I can afford it, I'll be getting an ounce of it from my friends within the shadows. I feel like it is a strain that all cannabis connoisseurs should try at least once for the sole purpose of being able to say you smoked the FBI-made cannabis strain from American Beauty, G13.

Costing $40 a gram from the DNM here in Australia. Grown indoors via. the Hydro bioCANNA method by a true cannabis artisan. The first time I smoked the strain, I felt quite euphoric but I was also just having cones on my balcony not really moving, so the high felt quite indica dominant, very tingly. The high also made me quite dizzy, gave me the best munchies of my life (11lbs in 2 days for reference) and makes me stupidly talkative. After probably the first night of smoking, the magic of the strain goes away and it just gives you the same results of normal weed. This strain ruined my tolerance levels very quickly and I'll have to take a 2 week break before I buy my next strain to trial. I smoked this for the sativa benefits but smoked by my lonesome once getting it. Smoking by yourself and it was just a strong strain of cannabis that made some things more fun like video games and activities more mentally-involved. But when I smoked with a friend, we went through a golf course kicking down trees, snapping all the trees, javelining golf hole flags as far as we could, climbing down a river whilst balancing a bong and open jar of weed. Whilst all immature and damage causing to other people, it shows how crazy the weed can be and how childishly fun and energetic you can become. Definitely recommend it.

The first strain I bought from a medicinal quality vendor at ~$35 a gram. Smelled earthy. The high was more sedative than I was expecting. Pretty great though.
