Dispensary 33 – Andersonville Chicago (Medical & Recreational)
4/6/2019
Dispensary 33 has been a really huge disappointment. It looks lovely and swanky, and many of the staff are very friendly. However, I would recommend against this dispensary as their business strategy does not support medical use of cannabis.
Simply put, their offerings are too slim and way too inconsistent. I know they’ve addressed quantity of offerings by highlighting their commitment to freshness; but honestly that has little to no effect on the experience.
There are very few strains, and few forms of those strains that work for me properly. I almost always have to “settle” for something kinda sorta similar but it usually ends up being a waste of $20-$75 dollars.
When asking about experiences, I’ve had employees tell me this strain “is like taking good shrooms”... That is not a medical cannabis environment in which I feel comfortable.
They have no printed menus, only labels behind glass cases that people are always standing in front of. Though I’ve asked for a printed menu every time I’ve gone, nobody has ever offered to help me see the labels.
D33 will surely do well in the recreational cannabis world, but I would strongly recommend seeking a more compassionate dispensary with consistent offerings or at least a high quantity of offerings.
