So I enter this location and get in line to check in. 1 person at the counter, 2 in line ahead of me. Over the next few minutes the line continued to grow. The single check in employee was working to get the same patient checked in, probably a new patient and needed the extra time. I looked into the back and realized there was no one waiting in line to be directed to a register and a few budtenders with empty registers. Common sense would dictate the floor manager or some sort of supervisor getting another check in lane opened to clear the bottle neck at check in. This did not happen. However one motivated BAMF of a budtender seized the initiative and moved herself to the second check in lane to clear the back log of people trying to get in and spend money in your shop. I don’t imagine she is an owner but she certainly demonstrated exemplary leadership potential and most certainly should be promoted ahead of her class (give her a raise). Zoe with the green/aqua hair should be considered as one of your most valuable employees as her actions reduced her ability to make tips in favor of improving the overall customer experience. Also you may want to consider either training your supervisors to to shift labor on the fly like that or just promote Zoe.
