Former employee and a customer since this establishment opened. I placed an online order today for curbside and I wanted the industry discount that they offer every Tuesday. Their daily discounts cut off at 7am the next morning. I am very aware of this policy since I worked there for a while. I sent two messages confirming that I would be getting the discount with my second message asking this question being sent around 6:43AM. I then sent a message around 6:45AM saying I was on my way after they confirmed that the discount was added. There was no warning message or anything telling me that if I arrived after 7AM, I would not be getting the discount. I left right away and got there a little before 7:15AM. They informed me that the discount had since been removed from my order because it was now after 7AM. I am completely understanding of the fact that your discounts have a cut off time, but when a customer is messaging you to confirm those discounts because it is so close to the cut off and you tell them that you added the discount. It would make sense that you should at least tell that customer they have until 6:59AM to get there or else the discount will be removed. I would have been happy to cancel my order because I knew I wouldn’t be able to get there before 6:59AM. That is the whole point of me messaging you to ask if I could still get the discount. This is horrible customer service in my opinion as anyone with half a brain would know to let that customer know they have 15 minutes to get to the store to get the discount.
If this is how you treat long time customers and employees who left on good terms, I would be expecting some communication from the Nevada Department of Labor soon since I have plenty of insight on the violations at that store.
