Good looking shop, but that’s about it. Employees are pleasant but not knowledgeable. They also try to push the house brand, Herba, and it’s low quality. Do yourself a favor and go to Herb(n) Elements up the street — better products, smart staff, and reasonable prices.

There are a few shops I really like but I'm loyal to an awesome anxiety-busting low THC, high CBD strain of Sour Tsunami that Leaph produces + I'll switch shops to find it if needed. Found out that Pot Stop had it in stock + paid them a visit a few weeks ago and again last week. The exterior appearance leaves a bit to be desired, but don't let that stop you from heading in! The selection and the assistance have been amazing at both visits. I had the good fortune of being helped by Ben W. last week, who was able to recommend a similar strain (Suzy Q) by another producer, in the event we were unable to source the Leaph strain going forward. Turns out, we like it even better + will definitely be back to re-up when we run out. Definitely love the medical roots of this place, it shows in their selection + product knowledge. This is seriously like, The Most Gentle Weed In America. Couple hits (like 2-3 MAX) before heading out to a crowded spot *completely* annihilated my social anxiety + low psychoactive effects kept my head from floating out into outer space (but still brought on a nice, feel-good vibe). My husband has pretty bad diagnosed like, Actual Anxiety and it helped him mellow out nicely. Just went back to Vela and picked up more of this medicinal gem!!

Not sure if I encountered a weird batch of this or what, but I could not disagree more with reviews here. Came on way too fast + heady, could literally feel the "happiness" chemicals in my body / mind being forced to participate. Very synthetic feeling. From some notes I made during: "I guess if you're a way experienced user and looking for this kind of high, you'll appreciate the melty / trippy / bloodrush vibes. But this was recommended as like, daytime, ease your cramps, go play in the park stuff and I can't imagine even having to deal with the person who delivers our mail right now! I'm being force-fed a very chemical-y high, maybe this would be the perfect fit for someone with a very specific kind of imbalance / condition? But if you're not that person, from a chemical perspective this is like, very obviously fake / synthetic cheese by-product. I'd way rather eat real cheddar." Will be giving the rest of this gram away to some daily driver friends. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

This strain was recommended by a budtender at Ganja Goddess for an evening / de-stress vibe, and she totally nailed it. (For context, I am a *very* light use / occasional smoker that seeks out high CBD strains for relaxation + anxiety reduction with low psychoactive effects,) Onset was a little bit heady, but eased quickly + gently into a really killer state of mental and physical relaxation. Took away the stress of the week and calmed my mind in a way I haven't been able to reach with meditation / consciousness practice, with an equivalent body effect (that didn't turn into slug zone / couch lock). It seemed as though I couldn't have stressed out or thought about anything difficult if I tried! Will definitely seek this out again for a dependable unwind / chill out option in my "medicine kit".

Agree with many reviews here: sets in nicely, relaxing; good for a chill-out sesh at night + doesn't mess with your head / doesn't send you to outer space. PERFECT for listening to music, conversations were confident, easy and insightful (still true the day after, too). Got way tired but I think that's more situational than strain-related, would love to try this with some coffee on a Sunday afternoon with a few art projects to see how things go. Only bummer is that there's a really quick fade out -- effects were gone after about 75m (even though that hour-plus felt pretty long). A few solid hits of this right before your favorite band hit the stage would be pretty excellent. ✌🏻️

[Specifically for the high CBD GSC strain from Ganja Goddess. For a reference point, I'm a few-times-a-month smoker at best, mostly looking for anxiety + depression relief without paranoia or balloon-headedness.] Pretty heady / slightly anxious onset, cerebral; with a physical sensory focus. If 1 is normal and 10 is non-verbal "couch lock", I'd put the conversational difficulty at about a 3.5 - 4. It did take some filters away and helped us both to access different perspectives, although I wouldn't recommend it for that use specifically -- just a side effect. Sense of touch was very elevated and very pleasant! (*Very* pleasant. We will likely keep a stash specifically for this purpose.) Overall good experience. Faded out gently, slept well, no mental hangover. Feeling relaxed today (day after) and noticing I'm better able to laugh at myself + not take things so seriously. In the end too much THC for us lightweights, but that's likely not the case for regular smokers. ✌🏻️
