So ive been a card holder for a couple years. I dont drive, but theres a dispensary really close by that I can ride my bike to. Well I decided to try out other places around the valley as Ive only gone to just 1 the whole time Ive had my card. Heres the low-down for my rating: Like i said, i only went to one dispensary until I found this place. Easy bus ride. I gave 4-stars for quality because unlike my usually dispensary I go to, they have a TON of flower displayed for you, top, mid, bottom, so you can choose and see your flower. Service, I gave 2 stars. The lady at the front was ok, but I noticed there were people that got special attention over first time visits and people that got into the dispensary before. I think I was skipped 2 times as they called a couple people that just showed up after me into the back, and they didnt have pickup orders because i also noticed she asked a lot of them straight up "are you doing a pickup order?". I also gave it 2 stars for service because I really didnt feel like I was welcome there. The place is neat, and very clean, dont get me wrong. But from the time I buzz into the door, to the time I hand my card to the gal at the window I get that feeling you get on a monday when youre going into work. Atmosphere, this is really a very high 3. Like i said, the place is neat and clean and the inside looks awesome!!! But in terms of *ATMOSPHERE*, its a 0. I just dont feel safe there. period. DOUBLE PERIOD! Ive visited a couple times and I have to say each time I exited im looking over my shoulder. I dont drive, so I have to take the bus or Uber. But imagine my anxiety leaving their front door to wait there by the bus stop or for a uber, without a armed guard. I came in one time at night, no security outside. The dude was inside chatting it up with the budtenders. I noticed the TV they had with the camera feed pointing outside by the front door, unfortunately I think thats the only safety net they have so once I exit im waiting in camera view for my bus or Uber. The second time I stopped in, more so in the morning time. Again, no security outside..... or inside, i didnt see anyone with a gun or vest inside or out. Now dont get me wrong, in terms of prices and selection I like this place. Its just the part after you pay your price and make your selection that makes me nervous. Because once you exit that building, god-speed to you if youre walking or waiting for the bus or Ubering because there wont be a armed guard outside to help you out. But overall, I do like this place. I just dont feel safe or welcome. I like their selections and they have over 40+ flowers in stock!! I just dont like theres no security after the purchase. Budtenders are nice. There are a couple tenders that look like theyre into health and fitness - so its nice to see others that also share the same likeness in flower and health.

So, this has been the location ive been going to for the last couple years since ive had my card. In fact, its the only place ive gone to since ive had my card for a couple years. I like it because they know my name when I walk in, and I know exactly what I want. I used to rank this place all 5-stars, until i hopped on the bus (i dont drive) and started visiting other dispensaries around the valley. Im now ranking this place 1 to 2 stars because I realized Monarch pretty much has the same stuff on "Happy-Hour" that theyve had.... well, since ive been going there. I was shocked to see chocolope on happy-hour about 2 months back, but sad to see that was the *only* new thing on special. They just took down willies wonder which has been on special for almost 2 years. Blueberry is back on special..... again, probably one of their worst flowers on special and also another flower thats no stranger to being on special for years. They have a couple CBD's on special that they added but I dont touch CBD's. But monarch, do you get what im saying? Theres a dispensary by the I-17 that has over 40 flowers!!! top, mid, and bottom shelf. I was able to get a 8th of something top shelf, for the price of what I was paying Monarch to purchase their 8th on happy-hour/special. And lately I havent been impressed with their flowers theyre putting on special. Last batch of chocolope I got wasnt great. And I only get stuff on special/happy-hour. Im still going to give monarch a chance, heck its pretty much down the street for me so taking my bike or skateboarding isnt a problem. So when Im in need of a quick gram with less selections i'll probably head there. But i'll probably be heading to the place(s) that have new flowers on their menu and cycle them out. Monarch: you need to get new flowers? I know youre trying to do your "Huxton" blend but my gosh. Get some new flowers in there. I do see you added like 1 or 2 new flowers..... but youre menu has been the same forever! Monarch, get more flowers!!!!!
