I’ve been feeling really down in the dumps lately. A touch of the seasonal depression and then a combination of mistakes I’ve made and challenging interactions I’ve had with others has made me want to start smoking more sativas. This is a great strain to smoke. It not only had an uplifting sensation but it had the heady vibes to it too but helped me to finish out the work day strong and come up with an ending to my new black metal song I wrote on guitar.

This strain starts with a nice uplifting high that packs a bit of a punch. You can really feel it. It doesn’t really make you sleepy until towards the end but it’s a strain that you can keep puffing and getting higher and higher.

This is a potent strain. I rolled up a joint and took just a few hits and already felt the effects. I put it out and went to watch some football for awhile. Not holding my interest I went back to this joint and went in the reading room and picked up where I left off on The Baron in the Trees. This gave me a body buzz in the face and although focused when reading I was drifting off. This is perfect for getting the potent effects and then getting some sleep.

This is a cool strain. When you smoke quick bursts of it off a joint - like 4-5 hits at a time - and then chill, it reacts like a potent sativa and has you wound up. If you casually take drags off a joint and chill with it and mellow, you get that smooth uplift but then after awhile without smoking any more, the effects take on an indica and the eyes start getting heavy and you just want to hang for a bit.

I splurged and don’t normally pay as much as I do for 2.83 g like I did with this strain. I saw it was a higher THC content and decided to go big. I had been ripping bongs of this most the day but didn’t really take me there when I’d have 2-3 rips per sesh. I twisted up a King Slim and hit it a few times about 1/4 of the cig and that was the ticket to really get the euphoric state of this strain. The bud itself has a very bright green vibrancy to its appearance, smells piney, and tastes flowery in paper and like celery in a bong.

This is a continuation of my review for BBK as I brought this with me on the same camping trip to have fun and relax after we got back from whit water rafting. We had some time before we hiked the Long Point Trail in Fayetteville, WV. This really made the hike enjoyable as once we got to the top, the view over the gauley that was breathtaking. The next day we rode some ATVs through the woods and up the mountain and this strain helped get me high in many ways.

I went on a camping trip for one of my best friend’s bachelor parties. I picked this up before I left to help put me to sleep or if I had too much too fast. We saw Daniel Donato who blew our tops off and mixed with some bourbon and beers, Blackberry Kush zonked me out after putting in some earplugs so I was refreshed to get up at 5:30 in the morning to do some white water rafting at the Upper Gauley in WV.

The buds had hint of lemon color in them and smelled mild but earthy. I was surprised how dense the buds were as a smaller than usually amount in the grinder rolled up a King Slim Raw joint. The taste was mild as well with a touch of pine. After smoking a good amount of the joint I did a deep dive into the new Nile record The Underworld Awaits Us All. First of all this record rips and Kollias absolutely pummels the drums from the beginning notes. The Animal Tree helped me to focus on the liner notes as there was significant information into the songwriting process and the historical topics that make up the lyrics. I was enamored by the whole thing and Animal Tree helped me to hear the notes clearly and get immersed in the world this record has created. I also couldn’t help but laugh at the times Sanders would go off track on the liner notes as he’s a funny dude. Great strain for listening to great metal.

I had just hit the dispensary and went over to a friend’s house that I hadn’t seen in 20 years. We went and got some ramen and did some catching up over lunch. When we got back, I had already rolled this joint. He mainly does dabs due to his profession of glass blowing and due to health conditions. He hadn’t done flower in awhile and this was the first joint of this I smoked and it was a very great high and we were extremely talkative. We listened to music and talked and did more catching up. This strain was a pivotal moment for me to reconnect with an old friend. Definitely not Jealous at all.

Came home last night after a couple drinks and some games on date night and put on the Olympics for a smoke session. I started to fall asleep on the couch so I went to bed. Got up early for a wake and bake and fell asleep for a few more hours. This strain has accomplished its task.
