Emerald Haze appears to play favorites and is utterly disinterested in customer service. My buddy and I came here together, each buying about $200 of product. Staff was friendly, if somewhat less than knowledgeable. But this is close to both of us, so we came back two more times. On my buddies second visit he was given a punch card. He spent another $200. I came a few days later, but was never offered a punch card, even though I purchased the same amount. My buddy visited again about two weeks later, buying another $200 of product. When he presented the punch card, they took it and said that it was discontinued. They gave him a black loyalty card instead. I returned a few days after that, purchased the same amount, and did not receive a card. So I asked, and here is what they said, "we don't provide punch cards or discount cards to anyone--all discounts are provided store-wide." This was and is an outright lie. I have no idea why I was singled out. I am always both courteous and respectful, and bring a light humor. My friend, on the other hand is a grouch and not particularly nice to "the help." We are both incensed about this obvious preferential and bias treatment and neither of us will be back.
One side note: the last time I was there a customer was haggling over the price and received a better deal. That is not acceptable on any level. Plenty of other stores to go to and this one has lost about $800 of business from both my buddy and I. We called, btw, and talked about this and they denied they have anything like a "loyalty card." Wow, strike three guys. Learn how to run a fair and equitable business!
