Don't let the name deter you from trying it. I feel very focused with this strain and it is very functional high. It is decently strong, but very manageable. What stands out to me nearly as much as the high is the flavor. This strain is DELICIOUS. Herbal,, spicy/peppery, piney, a little bit floral, just excellent.

One my favorite strains I've ever tried, and the best of it's kind, as in the best of the strains I've tried with reasonably similar effects. It's decently functional, but it does not feel as sativa-dominant as I was expecting, but things affect people differently; YMMV. It is very well balanced. Above all, I find this to be a very peaceful strain. It doesn't feel like it slows my brain down or speeds it up, it just makes it clear to me what things are important and that some things can just be left alone. Stressing is a high-energy activity and Jack Herer makes me just want to put my energy in to positive things instead. The only thing I've found to watch out for is an increased appetite, but that's exactly what some people are looking for so I can't complain.
