I was regularly coming in here 1-2 times a week. Usually have great service and no issues at all. Most of the staff are great to talk to. Very friendly. However, today will be the last I ever go there. The way they handle their customer service when there is an issue is unexceptional.
A new young lady with Short black and bright green hair helped me (she may just be new to me; It was the first time she helped me). I ask her a simple question: Why Local Joint does not offer 1/2 oz breaks? She corrected me, which is okay, and said they do but they are completely out of the pre-packaged 1/2oz but they have pre-packaged 1/8th's. I'm thinking, "Okay, Totally understandable! I'll just buy the same strain the 4 - 1/8th's (1/2oz)"
Until I found out if I we're to buy it that way, they would NOT honor the 1/2oz price. At this point I ask her why? and she couldn't come up with a reasonable answer and rolled her eyes at me when I asked to speak to the manager.
The manager told me the same thing and that I would have to pay extra for them to be in separate bags.
I would understand if it was a different vendor and that's the price point the vendor had set it at but this was THEIR OWN FLOWER that they grow. I would even understand, if I was trying to get different strains but that was not the case here. All I wanted was a 1/2oz of the same strain. As the manager said "We just don't offer that" or in other words "We like to rip out patients off." What a disappointing experience and very disappointed on how they handled it.
