Mary's - Seattle

1/25/2017
Mary's is great. It's easy to access/park/exit as it's right on Aurora with pull up parking. Once inside, it's a nice large open environment with display cases and product along the entire back and side wall. The quality of their inventory, in my opinion, is superior. There really isn't much to weed through (pun intended) as you are going to find great product from highly reputable and quality growers. The pricing for most of their product is better than most other places in the city that I have found as well. For me, I love Fireline products, and Mary's carries perhaps the largest selection at perhaps the best prices, consistently. That alone keeps me and my girlfriend driving from West Seattle, past 20-30 other shops, to visit Mary's. While I haven't had a whole lot of interaction with some of the budtenders there, it's always been a smooth, enjoyable experience, and never felt pushy or artificial like some places. I usually look for Johnny, but really everyone seems easy and fun to chat with.

Skatalite

1/22/2017
Skatalite by Fireline in Washington State. Tested at 26.2% THC. Large, chunky, sage green buds scattered with light and dark orange pistils, and very frosty with trichomes. Initially, the aroma is a very fresh, light tropical blend with subtle hints of pine. Once broken down, the tropical aroma is significantly intensified, exhibiting a very sweet, fruity/candy scent, meshed with a strong pine odor. It was very reminisce of opening a fresh pack of skittles and getting that fruity/sweet whiff. A dry toke from a joint gives a very lovely tropical/piney taste like an under-ripe mango. The inhale is very mellow and smooth, though not exhibiting any depth of flavor. The exhale delivers a surprisingly sweet and unexpectedly creamy finish. There is definitely a lot going on in this plant. While labeled as a sativa hybrid, the effects of this flower really left me feeling sedated and lethargic like any great indica would. This is an amazing strain exhibiting a beautiful range of potent terpene profiles that any true connoisseur must try.

Fireline OG

1/21/2017
Fireline OG by Fireline in Washington State. Tested at 30.0% THC. Darker green buds with a light trichome coat and tiny dark orange hairs. Extremely resinous, and sticky. The buds aren’t very aromatic on the surface, though they do present a light pine smell. Once broken down, the buds deliver a very strong diesel and pine odor, with subtle notes of mint. The inhale is extremely pleasant, flavorful, and smooth. A light menthol can be found behind an earthy diesel/fuel flavor. The exhale is also smooth and flavorful in earthy/pine/diesel notes. I also found faint bursts of mint occasionally on both the inhale and exhale which would overshadow some of the other profiles and truly leave me in awe. The effects are nicely balanced, leaning cerebral and sedative. Definite couch lock strain, providing a great overall relaxing, and calming experience.

Blue Power

1/21/2017
Blue Power by Fireline in Washington State. Tested at 27.5% THC. Amazingly fragrant, rich, sweet blueberries in beautiful indica hybrid form. This is an absolutely amazing strain for a true connoisseur. Very vibrant, trichome heavy buds with a beautiful blueish purple hue and fuzzy bright orange hairs. The aroma of this bud is outstanding. A very strong, sweet blueberry scent will immediately envelope you. Broken down, the buds only reveal an even richer, sweeter berry profile. The flavor this bud provides is also out of this world. A beautiful berry fusion, strong up front in blueberries, though exhibiting a range of light berry notes that will not disappoint. The effects of this strain are amazing for an indica lover as it won’t be long before the full body relaxation takes over, and lethargy settles in. This strain is without a doubt one of the finest strains I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy, and Fireline absolutely hits it out of the park…again….with this one.

White Fire OG

1/21/2017
White Fire OG by Fireline in Washington State. Tested at 32.0% THC. Frosty tight buds sprinkled with tiny orange fibers. A rich earthy aroma meshed with a light sour/diesel on the surface, and much sweeter once broken down. The inhale leans harsh, yet sweet and earthy, with subtle notes of citrus. The exhale tasted a little more sour/citrus and dry, though still enjoyable. This is a fast acting, cerebral high that will be followed up with a nice relaxing body effect. Definitely uplifting, and suitable for morning/day use.

Green Crack

1/21/2017
Green Crack by Fireline in Washington State. Tested at 29.8% THC. Large chunky light green buds riddled with sparkling white trichomes and clusters of vibrant orange hairs. A very light, fresh citrus aroma up front with woody or earthy undertones throughout. Broken down there is a very sweet, almost berry scent that lingers. The smoke is very smooth, with strong citrus tones on the inhale, while the exhale leans more earthy and spicy. The effects of this strain are absolutely amazing. This is a very cerebral high, providing incredible boosts of energy, and focus. This is a fantastic wake and bake strain, perfect for all day use, social situations, or for any time you need a little pick me up. Wired is a word that should be associated to this strain as it definitely has a great ability to combat fatigue and perk you up like a strong cup of coffee.

Blackberry Chem OG

1/21/2017
Blackberry Chem OG by Fireline in Washington State. Tested at 29.3% THC. Beautiful darker green buds totally covered with trichomes and strong shades of purple throughout give this strain an almost breathtaking appearance. Sprinklings of medium sized orange fibers give this bud a gorgeous “blackberry” finish. The aroma however…. was absolutely lackluster. As in it really didn’t exist. Faint notes of berry could be found under what I can only describe as a basic marijuana/herbal smell, which even in itself was absolutely the faintest I have ever had from this grower. Broken down, the buds did provide a little more of a sweet/berry scent, but still very faint at best. The flavor was also lackluster. The inhale was extremely harsh, and no real flavors were identified on either end of consumption. The effects of this flower were absolutely incredible nonetheless. It may not smell or taste as good as it looks, but it certainly gains back lost ground for how it makes you feel. A strong cerebral high provides increased focus and energy without leaving you feeling burned out. Great for all day use, or social situations as it won’t leave you feeling sleepy.

Pearl Scout Cookies

1/21/2017
Pearl Scout Cookies by Fireline in Washington State. Tested at 27.3% THC. This is a beautiful strain. Large chunky buds with gorgeous hues of purplish-blue throughout, absolutely littered with trichomes. The aroma is strong, lending both pungent earthy notes as well as a light citrus. Notes of pine seem to also be present. Once broken down, these buds smell much more skunky and herbal. The flavor is smooth on the inhale, providing a smooth, zesty and sweet taste. Good, sweet after taste. A very clear headed, energetic cerebral high paired with a light body high makes this strain very enjoyable. A slight bit of lethargy on the comedown might make this best suited for afternoons/evenings use.

Lemon Cake

1/21/2017
Lemon Cake by Fireline in Washington State. Tested at 25.8% THC Almost like a lemon cake with vanilla frosting! Light green buds completely covered in large trichomes and tiny clusters of small orange fibers. The aroma of these buds provide a strong, sweet lemon scent on the surface, and when broken down provide much stronger smell of citrus with a sweet but light creamy or vanilla note behind it. The inhale provided a bright, fresh burst of lemon, while the exhale was much more leaning to the sweet and creamy side. A true mellow smoke with great flavor on both ends. This is absolutely one of the more attractive strains for a true connoisseur. While still pushing 25%+ THC content, it packs the potency that an everyday consumer can appreciate, though provides a mellow, relaxed high that won’t lock you to your couch.

Orange Crush

1/21/2017
Orange Crush by Fireline in Washington State. Tested at 28.8% THC. This is an absolutely amazing strain. Smells just like an orange soda. Carbonation included. Medium sized, tight buds absolutely covered in trichomes and bright orange fibers. The aroma of this flower immediately provides a strong, yet still light and fresh orange scent, followed by a richer, spicy, almost meaty (orange chicken anyone?) smell which really does remind me of an orange soda. The inhale was a little on the harsh side, with light notes of orange/citrus, while the exhale was much smoother and full bodied, exhibiting a fruity/malt taste. The effects of this flower were well balanced, with a stronger cerebral high up front and an easy mellow comedown that didn’t leave me too drained. This is a bucket list strain. You have to try it.
