I have been shopping at 420 Grand Central for almost two years now. Everyone is friendly but not everyone that works there is knowledgeable of the products they are selling. I had to shop in the store last week instead of shopping on line first and then driving there to pick it up. I wanted a specific strain and the gal told me they didn't have it. I did notice that a lot of the strains are in the wrong cabinets. For instance, you have Pamelina in the sativa cabinet and it's a Indica Dominant strain at 60/40. They also have Pablo Escobar in the Sativa cabinet and it's a 50/50 Hybrid. So I think the strain I was looking for was probably in the wrong cabinet and I was told they didn't have any. I went home and went directly to their online menu and guess what...I found the strain I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had to go to work and didn't have time to go get it. I tried the next morning, but it wasn't on the menu. Two of the strains I ended up buying were in the wrong cabinets and I won't purchase those again. I will continue to shop there, but ONLY online. When I make my order online and they confirm it, then I know for sure the product I want is waiting for me. What I should have done though is ask the person to go in back and check, but I didn't and she didn't offer to go look either. She couldn't give any feedback of her own about the products, just what customers had told her. I think it would be helpful if the hired help had some knowledge about the strains.

So I went into this shop for the first time on Sunday, the 5th of Dec.. I noticed the store had very little product for being open 8 months. They didn't have a great selection on flower. I did find something I liked. I was told I qualified for the senior discount, which by the way I didn't get. I was charged $40 for my purchase. I talked to the lady in the store about how I didn't like buying old weed. She said she didn't like that either. But yet the stuff she sold me is almost one year out from the harvest date. So they bought old weed when they opened the store. It's got a harvest date of 1/11/2021. This weed was so old that when i took a bud out of the jar, it turned into powder right before my eyes. That stuff should have been discounted it was so old. The name says it all. It is more expensive than what I'm used to paying. I can get the same thing for $6 cheaper closer to home. I went to Olympia to visit the store across the street from TopShelf420. They were rude and so I decided to try this place and now I'm sorry that I did. I won't shop here again, even if I'm in the neighborhood. I definitely won't recommend them to anyone.

I drove 30 miles to get a specific strain from this store. Only to be told when i asked for it, that they haven't had that strain for awhile now. I suggested they take it off their online menu and I got some cockandbull story about how stuff is taken off and it pops back on. I started to look around the store and the gal(she had dark long curly hair and attitude) she told me that they didn't have anything as stoney as what I was looking for. So in other words, don't bother looking through our store because we don't have anything you are going to like. She was rude and she's glad I didn't punch her. This place doesn't include the taxes in the price of the product like all the other stores do. I will not spend my money in that place and I will tell everyone I know to shop at the place across the street..Top Shelf 420.

I drove to this store from Centralia because they had a strain that my regular store doesn't have. I expected to pay what the online price was for two 1/8ths of the same strain. The online menu said they were $20.58 each. Not so. The taxes aren't figured into the price ahead of time like all the stores i go to. So it turned out to be $54 for both when I thought it was going to be about $41 and some change. Imagine my surprise. I bought it anyway since I was there, but the guy who checks your ID needs to speak up and at least look like he wants to be there. He was all slouched down in his chair and it's hard enough to hear people through a mask, but mumbling makes it worse. I can find this strain locally usually, but doubtful that i will go back. When I look at my local weed store's online menu and it gives me a price for what I want, it's the same price I pay when I go to pick it up, because the taxes are included in the price.

I love this strain but i am having a hard time finding it. I asked my local budtenders at Old Toby if they could possibly get some. It's an awesome head high for me. It helps with my back pain and also allows me to go to sleep for several hours at a time. It's got a definite pineapple taste to it, but it is so sweet to smoke. smooth hits. i've only tried the flower not anything else. this is a strain that needs to be smoked at night when you know you are done for the day. it will put your lights out

i love this place. it's about time we had a decent place nearby to get our meds. i was driving once a week to Lacey to go to Lucid, until i found Old Toby. they have the best selection and the best product.

I went to LUCID in Lacey for the first time in February of 2015. The staff is very professional, educated, knowledgeable about their products and extremely friendly and helpful.
