Realizing that my ratings are in the context of a pandemic and the imminent Gubernatorial Advisory shutting down all non-essential retail stores (Gov. Baker’s categorization, not mine) my experience was generally positive. Staff should have been more vocal about the need for social distancing, which when done with the right attitude (humor) can improve compliance. The 4’s were due to the difficulty in actually ordering on the Leafly site. I understand these are trying times, but even earlier, it wasn’t unusual for Leafly to be overrun and not accepting new orders (Leafly, you out there?). I’ll attest to the quality later, but to-date have been happy with GR’s quality (but not the prices!). Having said all that, GR-Newton did a very good job in managing the swelling hordes outside their doorstep. Everyone, be well.

Reserve Ahead is Dead. Don’t bother. They don’t have adequate inventory control to allow you to order ahead and avoid the walk up line. I reserved before they opened, using today’s menu. Only 1 of the three strains (which showed available on the daily flyer) could be ordered in advance. I was told at the counter that when their inventory for flower falls below 10%, it’s removed from “Reserve Ahead”. But the store hadn’t opened yet, when I went to Reserve Ahead. How could they be low! I’m waiting for Garden Remedies to open. Maybe they’ll get it right. It’s not that complicated dudes. Wasted my time.
