Most people who grew up watching tv in the 80’s know the theme song to Cheers- “Sometimes you wanna go where everyone knows your name. And they’re always glad you came. You want to be where you can see our troubles are all the same.” I shop @ Zen Leaf (101 E Chesapeake Ave #102, Towson, MD) because they sell quality products, but more importantly, I shop there because of how they make me feel. I used to shop at other dispensaries until I discovered Zen Leaf. To me, most dispensaries feel like “medicinal marijuana mills”- rushed, impersonal, and transactional. Zen Leaf is different. I have had countless, meaningful conversations with almost everyone on staff-from Mike, the security guard to Justin, a knowledgeable and passionate bud tender to Dave behind the cash register. Whether you are female, male, gay, straight, young, old, blue collar, white collar, or “Green collar”- the entire staff @ Zen Leaf will show you respect, compasssion, and kindness. And you’ll probably leave there-like I do-feeling better- and you haven’t even taken any of the medicine that you came there to buy! -Meghan
