Red Cherry Berry is great offering from Barney's Farm in lovely Amsterdam. By backcrossing their best skunk plant with its California Indica ancestors, this strain was developed for Indica lovers who like a bit of cerebral high with a restful, body stone. The taste and aroma of Red Cherry Berry recall childhood visits to the sweet shop and the lingering fruit flavors of the highest quality hard candy.
While some people will love the place since it's the only local dispensary, real medical patients and connoisseurs deserve an honest review. And the Farm Assists deserve an honest review too so they can begin making the needed improvements.
First off, this is seriously poor service. Supposedly by appointment, but they hardly ever answer the phone. And when they do, they can be rude. Having been to dispensaries in 3 provinces, 1 state, and 100s of Amsterdam coffeeshops too, this is the worst service I've received by far when making an herb purchase.
Further, having been served by 4 different bud tenders there, I can tell you that not one of them really knows their stuff. Sativa or Indica is about as complex a discussion as you should expect... hardly connoisseurs.
While strain selection has been impressive in the first few months of 2013, quality has been hit and miss. Diesel Kush may be the best I've had from there, but you can generally find stronger / tastier strains elsewhere.
Add all of this together with their massively inconvenient location, and it's hard to recommend them. Basically, if you're local and your regular dealer is terrible, this might work for you. But honestly, you'll get better service and better product at the same price if you just pick a reputable BC dispensary and have them courier you your medicine.
