It is always so refreshing to walk into a business where the owners and employees display passion and devotion to excellence in their trade. When you walk into Powell House Cannabis club it is apparent that these guys have the passion. Talking to them you realize that they are cannabis geeks of the best variety. From the friendly, knowledgeable service to the impressive amount of perfectly cured delicious flowers, many of which are done in house, these guys have all the marks of a great dispensary. There was not one jar of one single strain that I did not want to crawl into and rejoice in its deliciousness; all of them seemingly dusted by fairy dust. I always have plenty of medication so I only buy flower when I want something special and this will be the place I come next time that happens. The shop has a great feel to it , that semi-medical office look with the loving twist of cannabis culture. In regards to their concentrate selection, they did not have too much to choose from. The BHO smelled great and was pretty standard at $25/gr donations. The one shatter that they did have was a great value, $15 and was comprised of 8 different strains (not a bad thing). They also had this grape ape caviar, nuggets marinated in kief that was pretty groovy. They said they will be getting some more shatters and other concentrates in soon so I will be back to check it out, if it is anything like their flower selection The two guys who were in there took the time to talk with me about everything. It is imperative to make the patient feel welcome and at home and a huge part of that is not making us feel rushed. They have only been open two weeks but I think these guys are here to stay, something reinforced as they pointed to their state dispensary license on the wall, one of the first issued. If the cannabis industry is going to truly be accepted by the mainstream, corners cannot be cut. These guys do everything by the books and I applaud them for it.
