I picked up another one of the Lifted small batch black out jars because they are always the highest quality with highs to match! This time around it’s the classic Meatloaf x Mendo Breath cross, but by one of my favorite farms in the game. The product label is iconic as always with these lifted small batch jars. This one in particular hints at a very “raw” taste. Upon opening the jar and getting that first whiff of the flower, I knew it wouldn’t be as primal as the packaging suggests. That initial whiff is very herby with slight gassy and citrusy notes. Strangely enough, the flower had a somewhat “heavy” smell, it makes me think it’s going to be one of those strains with thick, heavy smoke. The nugs cover tones from light green to dark purple but with big striking trichomes that give the nugs a white coating. The flower is ridiculous, every possible place for a trichome has been taken, and they are so big and visible. The flower is very sticky at touch and incredibly dense, so much so that you can tell it is fresh but are barely able to push down on the nugs. (These nugs had my grinder gasping for air). I definitely do taste a little diesel flavor on this strain but it’s disguised by the heavier sweet/herby taste that is really light on the exhale. The smoke is not as thick as I expected but it does have that accompanying rich taste. The effects were not what I was expecting from the packaging! I found myself utterly relaxed mentally and physically. I subconsciously shifted my sitting position to where I had my feet up which let me know that I was really comfortable. On the cerebral side, I felt super happy and euphoric, I was singing along to every song and just overall very appreciative of things I often overlook. My eyes felt heavy but not enough to make me fear shutting them, they just felt low. I couldn’t get over how relaxed I felt physically, like my body felt lightless. I wasn’t thinking much, more so just living in the moment. Another great strain by Lifted that leaves me feeling great, I can now look at that packaging in a completely different way! Rating: 5+/5

I don’t smoke sativas too often but this was a budtender deal so I had to pick it up, also I really like Royal Tree! This flower looks very different from other Royal Tree strains I smoke, it has the structure of a more traditional sayings strain. Soft, ‘loose’ nugs in a light green color, generously covered in trichomes. The flower is very soft at touch and doesn’t take much pressure to mold the flower. Right out of the jar, this strain has a very fresh aroma made of strong citrus and piney tones, it smells like one of those citrus floor cleaners (in the best way). With its very soft flower structure and it’s very fresh smell, I am certain it is going to provide a great taste and it will burn nicely. The taste is honestly surprising, it’s a lot less citrusy and a lot more herby. It’s still an overall light and enjoyable taste. I was right about it burning nice however, because it’s so sticky it burns real slow. The effects are what I expected from this strain’s terpene profile. I felt completely uplifted and euphoric during the peak with a boost in sense of appreciation. I did feel some slight body effects, it was a slight body relaxation but still pretty surprising for a sativa strain. This is a sativa strain that is perfect for that midday smoke break that packs enough mood enhancing to keep you going. Rating: 4.75/5 🍋🌲😁

When two iconic strains like Grease monkey and Runtz are crossed, you know the end product is going to be special. That is what the Greasy Runtz has to live up to. Right out the pack this has a very intense, poignant aroma made of sweet, citrus, and herby/kush notes. The nugs are green and purple and they have heavy trichomes that give the flower a white layer. The batch I got was very fresh and soft at touch and left my fingers sticky after breaking down. The taste is a sweet, fruity (like grape) taste on the inhale and a smooth, subtle herby flavor on the exhale. The more you smoke of it the heavier it tastes, by the end of the blunt, the flower had a much stronger herby taste without the sweet fruit flavor. The effects came on fast and heavy! I felt my eyes get heavy and my shoulders drop. I felt both mentally and physically heavy. Extremely relaxed body wise, no aches or soreness in sight. Mentally I felt very relaxed and very creative in thought, I noticed I had to think longer before talking. My reactions and vision were delayed so that’s what’s when you know it’s heavy! I picked up some flower of this strain by Exotic Genetix largely because of the Runtz X Red Pop Cross! As soon as you open the pack up you get the strong, sweet like candy, smell that this strain has like no joke this is some of the best smelling weed I’ve had recently. Like at this point it doesn’t even smell like weed it’s ridiculous, it does have a slight herby note to it however. The nugs are nice and soft made of green and purple hues. The flower looks very frosty! The trichomes are big and look frozen. The taste is is insane, it literally tastes exactly like a strawberry live resin wax cartridge would taste like, it’s ridiculously sweet! There is honestly no weed taste to it at all. I was only a few hits in when I felt the effects slap me in the face, at that point I knew it was going to be a fun time. I felt completely focused on the moment and aware of my environment. My mind felt active, I felt like I could keep up with full conversations. I felt completely relaxed in my body, all my pains and fatigue from the long day was gone and I felt bone with my seat, but able to get up and leave whenever I pleased! This stuff is a great experience all the way through with effects as sweet as its taste. Rating: 4.85/5 🍓🍬💨

An interesting cross between Cherry Pie Og and Cherry Blossom Trail that hints at a nice fruity taste. In my pack I got one nut that was all purple and then another hug that was mostly green. The nugs are hard and dense but are covered in a nice layer of trichomes. I think what is most striking but this strain's appearance is how deep the colors are. Right out the pack, this strain has a very green, herby smell and lacks any indication of fruit as you would expect by the strain's lineage. It does have a slight citrus after smell however. The smoke from this strain feels very light and soft. The taste is just as light with a nice rose petal taste on the inhale and a subtle herb taste on the exhale. It has a taste that makes sense for this strain's lineage and flavors. The effects are mind-heavy, with only a slight body relaxation on the physical side. On the cerebral aspect I felt woken up and more alert and aware of my surroundings. I also noticed I felt more clear-headed which allowed me to start and carry conversations better so it's good on the social aspect. Overall great taste and head high but just not very heavy. First of all, this smells like Sugar cookies right out of the packaging, a sweet blend of candy and fresh cookies very fitting for it’s name. It makes sense though seeing how this strain is a cross between Milk & Cookies and Rainbow Chip, literally spot on smell wise. The nugs are a very dark purple, at least my exotic genetix pack was, so dark almost black in some areas. The nugs are soft and dense and covered in big definitive trichomes inside and out. The flavor of this strain tally put my tastebuds through a mixer. I got a taste of soft, sweet bread fresh out the oven with a herby undertone on the inhale but a very subtle sweet chocolate taste, m&ms to be exact, on the exhale. This made for a very enjoyable consumption experience, the taste stayed as good all the way through the joint which is a plus. This strain provided a very intense head high that made me feel like I was ultra focused on whatever I was looking at. This strain is also excellent at eliminating stress and over thinking, I felt completely unfazed by any negativity which made me very appreciative. This strain also offers a nice body high that invites you to really just kick back and enjoy, and yeah I can say I enjoyed it for sure! Rating: 4.8/5 🍬🍪👨🏽‍🍳

Picked up an *Educational Sample* of this strain by Royal Tree and right off the bat, I knew I was in for a treat. A cross between Gelato 41 and Do-Si-Dos, of which both strains I am a big fan, it was destined to be nothing short of great. Dense but soft nugs of a light green hue completely covered in trichomes, literally stick to your fingers just from holding it. What’s interesting is that when I grinded it up, it took on a purple color meaning that it was just green on the surface but really the flower is actually purple. It’s aroma is a mix of herby green essence mixed in with fresh citrus, making for a very ‘earthy’ smell. The taste is instantly reminiscent of some top shelf Do-Si-Dos I had recently, a very rich and sweet taste on inhale with a slightly nutty aftertaste, it genuinely lives up to it’s name and tastes like cookies. This Dolato has a more subtle taste so not as sweet as it’s Do-Si-Dos parent but that might just be the Gelato 41 side of its lineage as that strain is known to have a sweet/herby taste. Overall the blended tastes of both strains really compliment each other here creating a very enjoyable sweet taste but not to the point it’s too sweet, it hit that golden area taste wise. Effects wise it’s kind of weird cause I can tell I’m super high but I was still fully functional, if anything more focused than before. Very clearheaded which leads to easy and endless conversations. Body wise, this strain does a good job of removing soreness, allowing you to really kick back if you wanted to. Great strain all around with effects that are potent but functional. Great high for an afternoon/night sesh, definitely going to pick up some more of this! Rating: 4.7/5 🍪🌿🔥

Nice purple and green nugs coated with trichomes. The flower is dense but very soft when grinded up. Has a very strong citrus smell to it with an herby undertone. Very “green” herby taste on the inhale with a smooth subtle flavored exhale, not sure if it’s just placebo but it does kind of taste like an egg roll. This is a very potent strain with heavy effects, expect effects of increased creativity, deep focus, and a tingly body feeling accompanied by slowed reactions. Strong stuff, definitely gets the job done. Rating 4.85/5 🥡🥢🔥

I picked up a premium preroll of this strain by House of Cultivar because I have tried and enjoyed so many other Gelato strains but not this #41. The preroll gives off a dominant herby smell with a sweet, fruity undertone. Surprisingly, the taste is very different from the smell. The main taste I got from this strain is of sweet cookies, with a mild, fruity aftertaste, somewhere along the way I get a slight herb taste but nothing as strong as the smell would imply. If I had to describe the taste in one word, it would be ‘sweet’, which speaks on how enjoyable this strain was. The effects came on fast, I was already pretty baked halfway through smoking the joint. Not to mention that the effects of this strain come on gradually, so you just keep getting higher and higher, completely oblivious as to when it was going to peak. All in all what I’m trying to say is that this stuff is strong! Expect effects of relaxation, increased focus, creative thoughts that lead to endless talking and a ‘tingly’ feeling in terms of body effects! Great strain overall, perfect for an end of the day high! Rating 4.7/5 💪🏽🫐🌿

This is one of the more interesting strains I’ve got to review in a while. Everything from the name to the packaging to the flower itself. The physical appearance of the flower is interesting, it’s made of semi-dull green and yellow hues but it’s striking feature is it’s bright orange hairs, the brightest hairs I’ve seen ever maybe! I think the craziest thing about this high besides the effects, which I will get into shortly, is how accurate this smells like squirt. I mean it almost makes me skeptical because this strain smells exactly like the grapefruit squirt soda! The taste is also very similar to the squirt soda but not as clear as the smell. The flavors I get are grapefruit, citrus, and herby in that order by potency of taste. There definitely is an herby aftertaste that dilutes the sweet soda taste, but not in a bad way because I feel if it tasted like soda too that would kind of weird so you get the best of both worlds with the taste. The effects are very enjoyable and energizing. I never really wake and bake but I felt I had to for this strain to really get the best out of it and I’m glad I did. I wake and baked it on a calm Sunday morning and it set the perfect mood of productive relaxation for the rest of the day. It’s a perfect dative because it does have an overall energizing nature but does also share some relaxing aspects you’d find in and indica/hybrid. This strain hits all the check marks with notable aspects being it’s smell and taste as well as it’s enjoyable effects. No complaints here. Rating : 5/5 🍬🍋🌱
