Tried a lot of Indicas in my search for the best strain for insomnia and Purple Punch works the best for me. Tastes good too....

As another reviewer wrote, it's a good combination of a body/head high. Mellow from the onset which lasts the duration of the buzz which lasts awhile.

If you just want to take the edge off but still function pretty well then this is the strain for you. Smooth taste, no couch lock or head in the clouds feeling. What I call the " nobody knows I am high strain "

Don't know how I missed this strain before. Got a pre roll today from Surterra and I have to say right off the bat I was impressed. The taste was amazing and the first feeling was instant calmness. Very easy to take long hits which I don't normally do. Felt very relaxed but while playing PS4 I could focus enough to improve on my game. Took more hits than usual but didn't achieve stoner high. An occasional drift of the mind but no couch lock. Just a very balanced happy high that lasts awhile. 4 hours into the GG4 experience and I haven't hit sleepy phase ( maybe The 20 plus pieces of bubble gum sugar high is the reason why ) but I have other strains for that. I think this my middle relief strain and will be used a lot from now on.

My new favorite everything strain. Nice smell, smooth taste. First I feel mellow, to not a care in the world, then total relaxation. No anxiety , no paranoia. The only bad thing I can say about LA Con is I get cotton mouth. But then again what strain doesn't give you that to some degree. After awhile I start to feel sleepy ( which is my main goal as I have bad insomnia ) at this point I take another hit and then it's LA LA land. Restful sleep is my final ( thankful) effect.

Huge fan of Master Kush and could definitely feel it in this strain. Hate the taste but the effects override it. Only downside is that it doesn't last long but taking another toke solves that minor problem.

Best part is that you stay high a long time. But I also experienced my first marijuana hangover. Woke up groggy which never happened before from mmj.

I have probably tried 25 strains and this is the worst. Could not fall asleep at all and it gave me a head ache. Taste was bad too

Very bad case of insomnia and this works the best so far of all that I have tried including the over rated Grandaddy Purple and the paranoia I get from Northern Nights.

Love it! I mostly take straight up indicas for my bad case of insomnia but was visiting family and wanted something to spice up the early evening. This pre roll from Trulieve did the job. Even played ping pong and I played great. Mellow high but very focused. Now I know why this strain is hard to find, it's that GOOD.
