This strain is a classic fruity indica. Big, sparkly green and purple buds yield a dense flavorful smoke with notes of apple, clove, black pepper, and of course blueberries. It has a heavy body high that relaxes you into a puddle and leaves you happy and smiling. Great for pain relief, stress induced anxiety, depression, and spasticity.
I have been here twice...or I should say, I have only intended to go there twice but ended up going 4 times. The first time I went in with severe back pain for some concentrates. Picked up a half gram of BHO, which was wonderful, but they only had one strain in stock and it was a mish-mash of various strains of bud. It was also outrageously priced ay $35/ half g. I also picked up a couple of grams of flower. The flower smelled good but had a yellowish hue to it that I origenally attributed to the bad lighting. Wrong! It was the same weird yellow color when I took it home. It was not very potent, nor did it taste as good as it smelled. The next time I went in solely for flower. Got some Super Lemon Haze and Albert Walker. Both smelled really good but didn't nearly stand up to what the standard is for those two strains. You could tell on the Albert Walker that the plants weren't flushed correctly at the end of the flowering phase, meaning I was smoking residual fertilizers. The Super Lemon Haze had that weird yellowish hue a lot of their flowers seem to have. This strain usually blows my mind, but I had to smoke two joints of this stuff before I felt anything.
Due to having to be highly medicated my first time in, I didn't realize right away but I did not get my ID and recommendation papers handed back to be before I left. At first I attributed it to an edible I had earlier in the day, but the same thing happened to me the next time I went in. Both times I had to take a 2hr walk from Rainer Beach to almost Renton. Following the logic of "Well, since I'm here anyways..." I picked up both times. The first time I got 2 of the $6 pre-rolls which turned out to be mostly trim, and the second time picked up an eighth of Cinex (another mind-blowing sativa that was also the High Times Cannabis cup winner for 2012) only to find that the buds had brown mold in them.
I can't say much for the atmosphere either. They don't have a waiting room, or even a couch, so when you enter you are just in a big empty room with everyone else clamoring for the bud-tender's attention. Neither of the people I spoke to seemed to know that much about their products (as in, which strains treat what symptoms best), and even if they had there was zero privacy to discuss my medical issues. They were, at least, very friendly. They are in the process of remodeling, hopefully things will improve once they are done.
I cannot in good faith as a stoner or a medical patient recommend this place to anyone. I'm usually pretty gentle on emerging dispensaries because I work at a small business and realize there are time, money, and man-power constraints, but these guys really dropped the ball. I don't understand how or why this place got such a high rating. Poor quality buds, poor customer service, and has the atmosphere of a often-robbed convenience store.
