Botanica (SE 12th Ave)

Budtender likes to bad mouth other dispensaries, often on social media. Shows their level of professionalism within the industry. Don't even need to see their meds to know that they have something to be insecure about.

Great aesthetics, but found the quality of the medication didn't match. Dried out flowers that didn't look or smell like what was in the display jars. Overall just be careful; looks can be deceiving.

Cannabliss & Co. - Firestation 23

Got some of their Willie Nelson shatter that straight crackles and tastes burnt. They seem to try to let potency testing to completely speak for the meds, but things like horrible extracts can fall through the cracks when no residual solvent tests are currently required. Flowers are the same, test well but are poorly trimmed, flushed and all-around sub-par. Last time I go there for sure.

Loud Medicine Delivery

This was my first time using a delivery service, although I've been to 64 (and counting) brick-and-mortar collectives around PDX. Guy was super chill, friendly, responsive and prompt. Great experience for a first timer for sure, only got a chance to check out his concentrates but wouldn't mind trying his flowers or medibles. And the fire OG crumble I got? Smell/taste was incredible, that alone made it well worth it. Donations were typical at lower quantities but became some of the best in the city when going bulk. Only did a 4/5 on meds cuz i only checked out the oils, id imagine the rest of his meds are on par.

Alternative Farmacy

All these 5 star reviews are BS, this has gotta be the worst place ive been (and ive been to 64 dispensaries in the portland metro area in the past 2 years). I was told their lowest tier was completely seeded, their second tier was slightly seeded and their top tier was seedless. The budtender then proceeded to show me 2 or 3 "top tier" strains that had seeds clearly visible. Their BHO is another story... they call winterized shatter "BHO extreme" and the guy marveled at the complexity of the machine needed to make it. No knowledge besides it was complex, and that it was $30 a HALF GRAM and $60 a GRAM reimbursements. I know that concentrate prices are rising, but thats just crazy when i can pick up a gram of the same quality anywhere else for $40 donation (or less). The fact that they are licensed boggles my mind, since they clearly have no business dispensing what they call meds to anyone. Stay away.

Mt. Hood Wellness Center - Broadway

After being denied from entering their first location (due to being under 21, although I'm a legal medical patient) and the less-than-friendly atmosphere of their Division location, I did not have the best impression of Mt. Hood Wellness as an organization. This location is changing my mind with solid meds, great customer service and some of the best concentrate donation rates in town. I have no complaints about their Broadway shop, something I unfortunately could not say about their other storefronts.

Been twice and was impressed both times by the quality of their concentrates, which are all top shelf. I don't leave many reviews but the clear, golden and butter-smooth shatters they carry are hard to find consistently in this city. Their flowers didn't seem to stand out nearly as much as their extracts, at least to me, however the Space Queen and Jack Herer shatters were the best I've had in quite some time and enough to keep me coming back.

Rosebud Wellness Center

Been to this shop a few times since they opened a couple weeks ago since it's very close to my house. Even two days after opening they were very put together and professional looking. Darren, Sean and Ben were all extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their medication, which was of good quality and average selection and donation rates. Overall it has come out of the gate better than many dispensaries I have been to shortly after startup. I definitely look forward to seeing them grow into an awesome neighborhood access point!

First time in and I was impressed, which doesn't happen often these days. Nice people and place, you can medicate onsite, they have good-great quality meds and generous freebies for new patients. Lab testing for most of their WIDE variety of flowers which shows their quality, and good reimbursement rates which shows they're down to Earth. Overall one of the few places I would recommend in the city!

Tree House Collective - Sandy

Been here twice, awesome location inside and out! Great flowers, nice selection of edibles as well as some concentrates. Best of all the suggested donations are low and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. I live close so I really hope they stick around!
