I've been going to The Kind Room since 2010 and I like it a lot. I have always been treated well and respectfully by the staff. I've stopped at other dispensaries to try them out, including one two blocks from my apartment uptown, but I always go back to the appropriately named Kind Room. I really appreciate that they can serve the elder crowd as well as the younger crowd and not only just without bias like some shops, but in a welcoming non-condescending and educational way. Their wide variety of cannabis is excellent quality and priced to market. They have a broad selection of edibles too. The interior is interesting as one of those old Broadway buildings. I like their accessories and pipe paraphernalia. Prices are about the same as the head shops I've visited. Maybe a little better. I highly recommend them. They're friendly and helpful.
