The Mint Cannabis - Mesa (Med/Rec)

10/13/2023
Seems like a lot of 'heads need to chill and embrace Dudeism, as in, "This will not stand, man." I rode my bike to the lightrail last Saturday, pre-ordered my purchase on my phone waiting on the train, then rode up Mesa Drive, all was ready by the time I got there. AND Emma (white-ish hair, below her shoulders, slim..damn I wish I was ten years younger...) answered ALL my questions, AND -even though there was some of you angry peeps behind me - she went and grabbed three more grams of distillate for me; I asked her to choose what to grab, and the strains she brought back...well, my gummies rock! The distillate is a little weaker than I am used to but the full-spectrum cannabinoids really help with the PTSD/neuropathy/arthritis. Thanks Emma!

The Good Dispensary (Med/Rec)

This year almost EVERYONE wanted to order online, thus TGD's website CRASHED!! To their credit, Leafly was able to assist with my medical order, and TGD has their website up and running quickly, considering. When I got through the HUGE line for online orders by the time I got up to Alexis' station she already had BOTH my orders in one bag and on the counter - they know me by sight, and are so welcoming and patient even on the Dudeist High Holiday 420 Day. I IMMEDIATELY made my ginger lemon gummiez when I got home and all is well. All praise and lets get high!

Curaleaf - Phoenix Airport

This dispensary is consistently offering proprietary varieties, and at the most cost-effective for the patient. In particular is the variety I picked up tonight, Dragon Fruit Juice. Yes, JUICE. It is not what you think it is; it's better. It's a cross of Koolato and my personal favorite, Orange Apricot. It's around 26% I think, the buds exhibit strong indica heritage with an amazing amount of dark purple anthocyanins throughout the nugs. I think this is a result of the other phenotype of Orange Apricot raising its lovely purple head in this variety. I know after four or five inhalations from a Diamond Glass I should stop typing now. Those in the Phoenix/Maricopa County area should give this a try, its effects on my neuropathy, arthritis and other issues are a blessed relief.

ACDC

Must shout out to the folks at The Good Dispensary, as always a pleasant and informative experience. I took approximately 1/16th of the AC/DC off the one gram bud that was voluminous and fluffy, and ground with an roughly equal amount of another strain I am familiar with and took the flame to my Diamond Glass. The effect on pain was almost immediate - I have arthritis, neuropathy and so on - and esp. the effect on my feet, a soothing warmth that is a vast improvement over their usual semi-numb state was quick-onset. The texture of the flower was semi-sticky and pleasant, with an extremely subtle earthy aroma. The CBD also augments and accentuates the effects of the Strawberry Ocean-Grown yum that was along for the ride, lengthening the body high and relief from anxiety. For those truly looking for medicinal relief from nerve damage, pain and the like, AC/DC is for you. For the connoisseur wishing to add an extra dimension to an afternoon bake, AC/DC is like the umami of herb, in small amounts it brings out the grace notes of a high octane flower like GG #4 or Banana n Cream. Give it a try!

True OG

This batch of True OG is true to it's hype - I approximate about 1/16th of a g. was just consumed via hubbly bubbly and my neuropathy is thanking me. I have to thank those like Leafly here and others who have reviews and dialogue regarding the ocean grown genotypes; I was looking for a word to describe the aroma/taste, and there is was: "This is Dank." Insert smile emoji here. Diggity dank.
