Lost Cause

I don’t typically write reviews, especially for weed as I understand that every part of smoking the Devil’s Lettuce is subjective and is going to vary based on your own experience, background, and source. With that being said, I’ll give y’all some necessary background knowledge. I was abused regularly for 27 years, so, naturally from that I have debilitating C-PTSD/OCD, on top of mental health issues that were most likely going to form into my adulthood anyway(Schizo). Clearly, I have to be careful with what I take. Weed has been amazing for taming my intrusive thoughts that happen without fail every other hour whether I’m triggered or not. It’s something I have to smoke every. Day. To feel any semblance of “normal,” I cannot turn off my fight or flight response on my own. Now, let’s get to Lost Cause, keeping all of that in mind: I hate this fucking strain with every fiber of my being. It takes two fully packed bowls of it to calm me down, even then the high lasts maybe half an hour, if i’m lucky, before I have to refresh the high again. I was gifted 66 grams so I’m stuck with my decision, but I’ll be brutally honest: if you do not have to smoke EVERY DAY, then this strain is probably amazing for you! It’s weak for me at 19% and severely dehydrated buds (it was a steal 🤷🏻 we have to do things different in the DMV). BUT I can see the benefits of this strain if you don’t need weed to get hungry, if you don’t need to be completely blitzed out of your mind to relax, if you just want a strain that feels like drinking a diet Coke instead of a regular, well Lost Cause is the strain for you, hence the 3 stars. It’s not a bad strain, it’s just not the strain for me.

Kosher Kush

It’s a great strain don’t get me wrong, the Indica effects are heavy for a little bit, BUT, for me, it doesn’t last very long. I smoke to alleviate pain from Fibromyalgia, specifically around my lower back/spinal area there, it’s hard to move at all when I’m in pain. Kosher Kush takes that pain away for maybe an hour or two? It depends on how much I smoke, but I found it to not be a very long lasting high for some reason, it’ll put me to sleep if I time it right, but doesn’t keep me asleep all night every time. So, 5 stars because the flower tastes great, and has a very relaxing high, I can only assume this strain would still benefit somebody looking for a step in the direction of stronger strains!
