Banana Split

This is a sativa-dominant hybrid cross between Tangie and Banana Sherbet. I love Tangie so I knew I was going to enjoy this strain. The nugs are somewhat fluffy with a lot of noticeable trichomes. The buds are mostly light green in color, but there are also random purplish buds. At first smell, you get a fruity citrusy smell, mostly due to the Tangie I assume. Once the bud is broken open, the Banana Sherbet really comes through with a strong sweet, banana aroma. I smoked a bowl of this in the morning to see if it would help with the stiffness I usually have when I wake up. I had a sense of euphoria within five minutes of smoking. Around the 25 minutes mark I noticed a decent decrease in the stiffness in my lower back. It allowed me to move quicker and be more motivated to start my day. The effects were very ‘stoney’ as well, however, I was still able to focus. Due to the happy and uplifting effects, I would recommend this strain for someone who is suffering from depression or stress. I also really enjoyed the pain relief it gave me. I am often very stiff in the morning and this strain has been great in helping me loosen up. I would also recommend this flower for those who deal with any sort of muscle tension or stiffness. The effects lasted for about an hour, which is not that long, but it was just enough to get me up and moving. I also really enjoyed how mellow the strain is. Tangie on its own has caused anxiety in me from time to time, but the Banana Sherbet nicely balances it out. I have never felt any anxiety while I medicate with this strain, which can be of great benefit for those who deal with anxiety issues. All in all, I really enjoyed medicating with this strain and I recommend it for anyone looking for a new sativa-dominant strain.
