Kind Love

Writing this negative review makes me very sad because Kind Love used to be so great. There seems to be a change in attitude towards doing what's right. They're more focused on making money. Their biggest offense is selling 15% THC weed as connoisseur level, when, their other strains are twice as potent. I feel ripped off by them. They also implemented a new reward system which is is a real rip off. If you get anything on sale, you don't get point credits for them. When they used the punch card, they gave you credit for every sale. It's also very tacky, considering that some of their sales are based on customers donating things - like I donated a bag of clothes to their clothing drive and they gave a discount for that - but, no points. They are having serious issues keeping their shelves stocked with their best products and their standards (you can get weed with 15% THC anywhere in the city for $100 with a med card). I've spoken to them about it and they are not receptive to hearing constructive criticism. I was told that they're tired of hearing the same complaints. I spoke to the manager who promised me that he'd get back to me today. It never happened. I was unfriended on FB by someone who works there, so, I guess, in Kind Love's eyes, I'm now a villain because I dared to complain about how they keep lowering the bar on service and product. It's like they're in a bubble and don't realize what they're doing to their patients. Instead, they will vilify the patient for being disappointed in how they've declined in quality of product and quality of service.

This is the best dispensary in Denver. The meds are top quality and consistent. They have a huge selection of edibles as well. Their suggested donations are excellent and the staff is fantastic. I go to a lot of dispensaries and this is, by far, my favorite.

I saw on their Leafly menu that they offer "Super Shake" for $75/oz. I went there and waited a long time while the two employees waited on each person together at once. When it was my turn, I asked for the shake. I was told that they don't sell shake. I told them it was on their Leafly menu, and they still wouldn't honor it. In fact, he tried to sell me LEAF FOR $75/oz, which is outrageous. It must be a bait and switch tactic. They were not nice about it. It is so unprofessional to not honor your advertisements. This is another dispensary that doesn't know how to operate as a business.

Where to begin? First, they advertise in Westword that they open at 9. I get there and they don't open until 11 a.m. I drove a long way, so I waited until they opened. They advertise that they have "great shake" for $80/oz. They actually don't have great shake. They remove the kief. WORSE YET - THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE AN OZ OF IT! Why advertise that you sell it by the oz when you only have a 1/4 oz to sell? The employees were apathetic and seemed to care more about socializing with one another than helping customers. AND--FYI, IF THEY ARE YOUR CAREGIVER, THEY'RE NOT DOING THE $5 1/8'S ANYMORE. IVITA should really shut their doors. They don't have product to sell and they've re-neg'ed on their deals. Their advertising is false. BEWARE and don't bother. I wasted 2 1/2 hours of my morning and a half a tank of gas.

I went there yesterday morning and purchased $15 worth of product. I gave them $20. When I got home, I realized that I never got any change. Thinking it was an honest mistake, I called the dispensary and left them a voice mail letting them know. I never got a call back. The next day, I called them and explained the situation to a girl who answered the phone. She took all of my information and put me on hold. I didn't think it was going to be a big deal - after all, it was $5. Would anyone run a scam trying to get $5? The gas it would take to get me there and back wouldn't be worth it. After being on hold, the manager came to the phone. I had to explain everything to him again. He didn't seem to believe me. He said that they didn't have any overages in their drawers, so he couldn't imagine how I could be short. Did I have a receipt? I said I did. He tried to make me back off by saying that he had cameras he could check to see if I really didn't get my change. Seriously? At this point, I'm really annoyed and insulted that he's giving me such a hard time over $5. AND - is keeping my $5 so important that he's willing to have this experience posted online? He said he had to investigate and would get back to me when the investigation is complete. I asked him how long it would take and he wouldn't give me an answer. Then, I spoke to Carlos, the owner. While he did agree to give me my $5, it wasn't until after a long debate in which he told me that his customers will try to steal "a dollar out of you" and that "people lie." He said that if I went to McDonalds and said I didn't get my change, they wouldn't give it back, so why should he? I actually believe that McDonald's would give you your change back--or at least be willing to count the drawer out and give you the benefit of the doubt. After all, $5 is not worth insulting a customer and calling them a liar. He also complained that I am telling him this A DAY LATER. I explained that I called the day before - right when I got home, but, they didn't call me back. His reason what that they had phone troubles and they are too busy to check their voicemails.
