Definitely on the lighter side of indica leaning hybrids, this strain is suitable for a daytime or nighttime smoke. Initial hit is fruity with a clear flavor of orange on the back-end. The high is relatively immediate with calming body effects and an enjoyable head high.

Lodi Dodi, what a fun little strain you are. I really enjoy this for the fact that it can be used for a number of activities. Need a quick hit in the morning before work? Want to smoke and play video games? Need something to take before going out? Lodi Dodi plays well in all situations. The high is relatively clear headed at low doses. At high doses, the weight of the high becomes harder and harder to ignore. Some body high, but mainly a floated, slightly cloudy head high. I enjoy this strain day and night but doesn’t hit some of the euphoria that you can experience in heavier straight sativas or straight hybrids. Like a sharp Syrah or earthy Pinot Noir, they are acquired tastes that are good in a number of scenarios. However they don’t always excel as daily drivers like a fruity Cab might, to continue the wine analogy.

Indica lover will worship this strain, sativa lovers will respect its prominence within the community and undeniable high. This classic strain starts off with a relaxing head high that quickly spreads into a full body high. No special occasion needed to smoke this friendly and fruity bud. It's ideal for falling asleep or just chilling out on the couch, cannabis junkies would be wise to always keep this great granddaddy always in stock. Somethings are cliche for a reason. GDP is like a postcard you get from a friend visiting Rome; you know its magical but you really must experience it for yourself to truly understand the hype.

True to it authentic Pacific Northwest roots, Washington Apple is crisp, delicious and sweet. Like any quality hybrid, this strain provides a high that keeps your mind floaty yet functional, while your body exhales with tension release. What I like about this strain is that it adapts well to your current environment; always considered a worthy high to accompany anything from movie marathons to social events and bar hopping. I am excited to see how the strain fairs during physical exercise or hiking in the Washington backcountry. As a Seattle native, I may be a tad bias. Do I care? Absolutely not; this is what good weed is all about. I highly recommend taking a bite.
