What is there to say that over 12,000 people reviewing this strain haven't said already? A favorite of newcomers and veteran consumers alike. Sometimes more berry forward, sometimes more haze sharpness in the aroma, a mild smoke with nothing remarkable or terrible to speak of. Blue Dream always seems to do the trick. A nice even buzz with minimal negative effects, dreamy yet focused a go to for many consumers. Even a 'bad' batch of Blue Dream seems to turn out somehow...mediocre. I guess that's the rub here; there's so much of this stuff flowing with it's name recognition how could it be bad?

Although the smell of Horse Blanket and Lemon Pledge may not sound exceptionally appealing this musky, piney strain boasts layers of flavor and aroma. I found a small dose to be calming yet uplifting and did not get in the way of carrying on normal daytime activities. However, I could see how consuming larger quantities might just take you out like an ogre. My only qualm with the OG family in general is growers harvesting too early. Most of the time the buds are underdeveloped, wispy and brittle, but when you get those rare gems with full calyx development...ahhhh!
