Top notch strain, smells and tastes like grapes with a hint of lemon from the larry og. Prettt sure I got a more GDP dominate phenotype because it had a more indica feel to it with purp in it. Definitely a good relaxing and chill strain.
Purple Punch is a delightfully delicious Indica strain that works wonders in curbing symptoms of Anxiety and Depression.
The flavor, for me personally, is a bit difficult to nail down. It is VERY strong, both in taste and in smell, and while it certainly has elements of grape/grapefruit/citrus-y flavors, it's hard to say which one takes over. Imagine blending up a handful of skittles and trying to describe the flavor. It's not a bad flavor by any means, just complicated to describe. In fact it's to this day the best tasting herb I've ever had.
I think the best way of describing the high you get from Purple Punch is medicinal. Suffering from pretty severe depression and regular panic attacks, this strain is a godsend. The most prominent effects I noticed were Euphoria and the giggles. While under the effects of this strain, I was incredibly jovial and found even the most mundane of topics both enthralling and hilarious. It should also be noted, however, that this particular strain can make you considerably aroused at times.
In terms of visual appeal, this strain is absolutely loaded with trichomes. To be frank, it looked almost like someone covered my buds in sugar it was so prominent. Furthermore, the buds were a lovely compliment of interwoven shades of purple and green. Certainly this is a strain you could feature on a magazine cover.
While there were practically no negatives, there was bit of the high that, for me personally, was just a bit "off" of the whole experience. More-so at the beginning than at any other point during the high, this gets you right in the head, for an albeit short amount of time. I think it's potentially enough to put people off to the strain as a whole, but for me personally it was more of a speedbump, if you will, than anything really negative about the strain as a whole. To elaborate a little, I could definitely feel the high, relatively heavily at that, right in the front of my face for what I would equate to be maybe 15 to 30 minutes after smoking. Once that initial "Punch" from the Purple Punch wore off though, it was definitely one of the most pleasant Indica highs I've ever had the fortune of experiencing.
Lemme tell you …. If you want something that’s gonna make you forget about everything that pissed you off during the week smoke this frfr 😂😂 I never been so giggly in my life …. Don’t go around nobody sad cause what’s hurting them is funny to you well at least it was to me… Good Shiiiiiii
Favorite for a bed time bowl great to mix with natural lavender
I’m no novice, know that, but damn if this strain didn’t knock me on my a$$ and have me spinning after just three successive hits.
Took a smell after grinding some and it smelled like blueberries and something faintly sour.
Took a hit and it tasted like creamy blueberry ice cream (esp after taking a drink of cold water). Of course I had to take a couple more hits because it’s just that delicious. Next thing I knew, within just 10-minutes, I had the spins and was walking into walls, while lmao (out loud) at myself.
I stumbled my way to bed and passed the fack out-for several hours.
Second day in I now know to treat this creeper with respect. I don’t yet know if this causes munchies, for me, so we’ll see. I Do know that I won’t be sharing this.
YMMV

Sweet & delicious—this is quite the heady strain despite its indica genetics. The buds are dusty & pungent with deep violet and specks of pink. It packs a massive punch straight away, hence the name, which can instantly couch-lock you if you're not careful. To me, though, it's equally exciting as it is relaxing. A ripple effect resonated throughout my body while I concentrated on my music project for hours straight. Smoke sesh: 5 minutes. Chill sesh: infinity 😍
