Thin Mint, a hybrid cross containing Durban Poison and OG Kush genetics, is a phenotype of the legendary GSC (f.k.a. Girl Scout Cookies) strain. Dark green and purple hues show through a heavy coat of crystals, with a sweet minty smell that explains this strain’s name.

While Thin Mint technically would be called slightly indica dominant, the effects are closer to a slightly sativa dominant strain. The powerful sativa effects of the F1 Durban make its presence known through waves of euphoria and bursts of creativity during, as well as a good time after smoking. A patient suffering from depression would be able to relax and calm the mind, while not feeling too sedated. The OG Kush refusing to be unnoticed, shows its true Indica dominance with its sedating body high and overall relaxation. Thin Mint Cookies is a Indica-dominant hybrid, but does not feel sluggish as some other Indica-dominant strains do. This allows for this strain to be a good choice for a wide variety of patients.

GROWERS NOTE: If you decide to get GG feminized seeds rather than GG BX regular seeds, be advised that the process of feminizing seeds can sometimes increase the plants hermaphrodite tendencies. Because the original Original Glue strain was the result of an accidental pollination by a hermaphrodite, each plant should be regularly checked in flowering for pollen sacs.

Harlequin has gained a following as a high CBD strain since it was discovered. CBD has proven to be an effective treatment for PTSD, chronic pain, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, fibromyalgia, anxiety, etc. CBD counteracts THC’s paranoia while amplifying its painkilling properties.

These feminized seeds are made from two Harlequin females. The benefit of feminized seeds in CBD strains is that phenotype expression can sometimes be more predicable in the offspring, producing a more consistent CBD to THC ratio.

Flavors range from earthy musk to sweet mango but what makes Harlequin so popular is its ability to relax without sedation and to relieve without intoxication.

After harvesting seeds from the plant, we had the strain tested by a nearby lab. Generally, plants that have produced seeds tend to test lower in Cannabinoids than unpollinated females but these tests still came in on the high end of other Harlequin tests throughout the country.
