It's a great dispensary. Staff is friendly, and the bud is great quality.

Other than television shows, this was my first introduction to the medical marijuana scene and it did not disappoint. After years of self-treatment and dealing with unreliable dealers who rarely had more than one strain to offer this was like being a kid in a candy store. The staff was welcoming and those who assisted me in selecting meds seemed to really know their strains. Have tried 3 of their top shelf strains so far and they are easily some of the best I've ever smoked. Definitely plan to make a bi-weekly stop at Giving Tree.

People were fairly nice, flowers looked and smelled good but were barely flushed. You can taste the nutrients and my throat contracted after smoking each of the two strains I picked up. Picked up a few edibles that were completely ineffective for me. Their flower room was a little dull and uncomfortable and could use some revamping. I might give them a second chance sometime in the future if I'm in Mesa but I was summarily unimpressed.

On my first visit I was incredibly nervous and had no idea what to expect. The staff were SO incredibly welcoming, helpful, and informative. The patient advocate (sorry I don't remember his name) and I had a meaningful dialogue and all my questions were answered. I have since visited other dispensaries, but The Giving Tree is home now. Thank you !!!

Tried Frankenberry alone, whereas previously I had used a small amount for a voulez vous coucher.avec m-Ahem! Anyway, back to the strain: seemingly slows down time. Hence: everyday multitasking occasionally requires correction. I think my health concerns were definitely eased by using this strain. I listened to 'A Grand Don't Come for Free' twice, and yet the amount of work I accomplished seem to far exceed what I usually get down in such a short time period. RECIPE: 85 to 80 percent AC/DC or other high CBD strain. 5 to 15 percent Frankenberry Adjust to personal preference. PS. The Streets sophomore release is a truly deeply affecting, emotional experience. It includes the song 'Dry Your Eyes, mate' featuring Chris Martin from Coldplay.

Very nice professional set up. I received a half gram of the gold hash and it was just amazing! Took my back pain right away! Haven't tried the tree or edibles, but the cheap hash is still amazing!

Jack is a small g Budtender god and you should all bow at his feet! All hail Jack! Seriously, EVERYTIME, they don't have what I want, and I tell him what I am looking for (properties and simlar strain wise) HE ALWAYS gives me better than I was originally looking for. Amazing. At least 8 times now! Call him 'Weedamus". Jack can talk to your cannabinoid receptors (cb1 AND cb2) and tell YOU what they want/need :-)

The dispensary was busy but I enjoyed talking to patients while waiting. First time patients buy 2 grams of flower and get two free.

Nice workers, junk meds. Sorry. 3 strains all smelled like food ingredients. 1-3 hits on the vape vs 4-6 from commercial greenhouse mids. Rec smokers and the inexperienced are keeping these dispensaries afloat. This establishment is against patient grow rights.. Capitalist politics when they cant offer a medical grade product.. I do resin tests and will soon be ripping apart all local fluff growers. Brix plus, purple max, and snowstorm ultra. these should be the arizona strain names. Frosty even after thermal resin extraction.. Thats not trichs kids. At least they dont spray their meds with artifical funk spray, like others. Either way, No excuse for the junk meds in 2015, sad how many patients are not getting the meds they need do to people who care nothing about Cannabis and everything about $$$. Grow some meds in a sanitary grow room, not in grandmas noodle pantry, then learn to cure when you get to that step. Youre an embarasment to the Az Cannabis community.

I’m new to this. Everyone made me feel right at home. I literally had no clue what to do, or where to start. They made it very simple, offered suggestions on product to suit my problems. No pressure, no rushing, and no crowds! It was all very clean and private too, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I will certainly be returning to The Giving Tree!

As a first timer, I was bit hesitant not knowing what to ask or what would help my symptoms. I worked with Justin for about 45 min. He was extremely knowledgeable and patien. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Friendly, helpful, clean, and professional.

Let me be honest so others will not have to go through what I did with these people. I have been a customer with the giving tree for a while now, the greens are over priced but I was a rewards member so I always received a discount. Anyhow, I went in and ask the girl with the brown hair, she looks like the dude with the glasses.. Maybe they are related. I was interested in a vaporizer she pointed one out that was way more than I was willing to pay, so I choose, the black one that looks like a asthma pump. (127.00) She took it out explained everything (except no refunds or exchanges, so you might be shit outta luck)and I was on my way. Got it home charged it, watched a Youtube video and gave it a try. It SUCKED!!! It is not an easy puff at all, no smoke comes out and I almost popped a vein trying to get a pull! I went into the shop and everyone was friendly like they always are, except these two in the back who acted like deers in headlights! I explained what happen, I had my receipt and I wanted either my money or an exchange.. something They looked dumbfounded like duh?? No refunds or exchanges.. just a we're so sorry but you can contact the manufacturer!! Are you kidding?!?!?! I have given this place so much of my money.. don't make the same mistake! Get on the rewards program so you will not pay full price and DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR VAPORIZERS!!!!! They do not tell you if there is a problem there is nothing they can or will do! Nothing was offered for the 127.00 I lost on this thing sitting in the original box in my closet! Useless. They should have offered a free gram or something ANYTHING EXCEPT oh, were so sorry!! I will never give them another dime and I'm making sure my mom, nephew and cousin never go there again. BTW Emerald has the bomb Vaporizers and the best edibles!! RW/Chandler
