Dakota Herb - Brandon

I have been taking prescription sleeping medication for over 10 years. This past July I spoke to my trusted Dr. of 12 years, who prescribed me a medical marijuana card. He believed it would not only help me sleep but would help with my arthritis pain and migraines. I tried smoking marijuana a couple of times in high school ( a LONG time ago) but didn't like it. I was nervous to try it again. I went to the dispensary in Fandraue since it was the only one open in SD at the time. The moment I walked into the building I felt very uncomfortable. Although the staff seemed nice I felt like they were just trying to sell me things to get high, they did not explain things to me and when I asked questions I didn't get very informative answers. I purchased a few things to try and non of them helped me sleep, some even made me sick. I spoke with my Dr again about a month ago and told him how I felt about the dispensary and the items I had tried. He suggested I go to Dakota Herb in Brandon, SD, and speak to the staff there. He didn't want me to give up and he reminded me of the medical benefits of the drug. I finally decided to go speak with the staff at Dakota Herb. I was very reluctant and skeptical but when I got there the atmosphere was completely different than my previous experience with a dispensary, and I felt more at ease. It was obvious the staff were very educated and care for their customer's individual needs. They took the time to listen to me and educated me on the products. They walked me through step by step what I could expect from each item. They answered all of my questions and didn't try to oversell me anything, if anything it was the complete opposite. After listening to my past experience and hesitation, they suggested a small amount of the item they thought would work best for ME. They again educated me on how to take it and how it works. They also asked that I let them know how I'm doing with the product and to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Easy to access location in Brandon, SD with lots of parking. Great friendly staff and lots of quality products to choose from. Store was super clean and cool looking!

I have been to the dispensary twice, and the people are very knowledgeable and know what they are talking about. They are friendly and nice people. The lotion and flower they offer are incredibly helpful for my arthritis and I could not recommend them more. Randy Rosenbaum
