Green Goddess Collective - Venice

Let me start off by saying this: I have wanted to write this review for a few days now, but the weed I got from this place has had me so couch locked...I am just now getting around to it. A++ for sure. I got exactly what I wanted. I have a popped out collar bone and scoliosis, so I have a lot of pain in my shoulder and back that makes it hard to ignore even when I am sitting, but the weed I got stayed true to its name! Really pain relieving. When I went in, the process in the front room was timely and the staff was really chill and nice. I appreciated how organized and fast things were. After I walked up to the actual room, I was really surprised with the variety. I've been to dispensaries in Colorado, and i honestly have never seen such a selection like Green Goddess Collective had here in Venice, CA. I was actually overwhelmed in the best possible way. I had an idea of what I wanted after looking on their online menu, but when i got in there, I ended up seeing something totally different and wanting to try it out instead! The girls behind the counter were so nice and helpful. I was able to not feel rushed and ask to see as many strains as I wanted. I think the first time going in here, I asked the girl (I wish i remembered her name) to see like 6 different strains because they all looked so good. She didn't mind at all and even helped me out with which one was a good couch lock and which was her favorite. (and this strain definitely makes me couch locked) I will be going back soon, because I keep wanting to try other strains they have. All of the weed they offer is awesome. The building is also very clean. Everything is great about this place. Overall 5/5 for sure.

I was just SO embarrassed and humiliated by a woman working behind the counter that I'm afraid I cannot give a good review nor do I want to return. As a local professional living on the canals of Venice just right around the corner from Green Goddess Collective I'm sorry to say the customer service I received was just horrendous and extremely unsettling that I feel it necessary to share with my community. I came to the Collective by myself on Thursday afternoon, this being my first time to this shop. The woman helping me behind the counter started right off the bat with an attitude as if she didn't have time to answer questions. And when she did answer, she spoke softly enough and far back from the counter that I had a hard time hearing her and politely asked her to say that again. The line behind me was full with patrons awaiting their turn, and in front of everyone the woman told me to "clean my ears"! My face turned so red of sheer embarrassment and my eyes welled up. And instead of making an intellectual decision I just bought what was in front of me to the tune of $300, ran my card and shuffled myself passed the huge line of people who just witnessed my humiliation and the treatment I had just received from the clerk, who's name she told me smugly was "Doloris". When I got downstairs, refaced, I did ask to speak with the manager who was very kind, however in the moment of still being perturbed I wasn't able to tell her all the details, and what the clerk said to me, and how much I had just paid for that kind of service, all I was able to say in that moment was that clerk made me very uncomfortable and that her rudeness was super unnecessary. I really hope the manager - who shook my hand and looked me in the eyes kindly - will pass off her good customer service etiquette onto Doloris, so that it doesn't happen again to anyone else coming into her store. And for Doloris, you should be ashamed of yourself working in an industry, and a location for that matter, where RUDE is not acceptable nor necessary!

The Green Goddess is a great place to get your medical needs filled. The ladies there are very helpful but above all are knowledgable. So if you like good product, great assistance and don't mind lovely Goddess sells assistants you will love this place.

Although they do not have a great pre-filled cartridge selection, they have a nice selection of oils and cartridges. Also, the very kind staff offered to fill my cartridges for me, which is above and beyond the call of duty :)

This was my first time shopping medical, everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. Will be back for sure!

Everyone who works there takes their time with you to find exactly what you are looking for. I love this place. From the front desk to the sales floor they will treat you like an old friend! Even the security officers. Thank you green goodness. Yes, I said green goodness!!!

Great service

The further I went into this place the more stoned out of their mind the staff was. When I finally got to the main area the girl that helped me was more baked than I can even believe - really ridiculous and totally unprofessional.

I just received my Med card, and this was my first ever dispensary experience. I approached the counter, a little nervous, and explained that this was my first time. The two receptionists were very nice, handed me forms to fill out, and told me to have a seat. Unfortunately, all of the seats were taken at that time and I had to stand as well as a few other patrons. But it did seem like people were coming and going at a decent pace. I waited about 30 minutes. They even offered an express room for those in a hurry. When it was finally my turn, I opted to go upstairs. I was handed a number ticket and a ticket for a free welcome gift. When I got upstairs, I wasn't sure what to do. I looked around for a minute, a little confused as to why no one had asked me if I needed help yet, before I realized the number ticket was for me to wait until my number is called (Duh!). When it was my turn, the clerk asked me what she could get for me. I told her it was my first time, she welcomed me and got very excited. She explained the menu, told me to look at it for a second. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the products. She helped me pick out a wax (even asked if I had a dabber yet, which I didn't and she sold me one that they had for $5) and two different strains. One of which was a spotlight strain, which meant I got 4.2 an eighth instead of 3.5. And I picked the brownie for my gift. After I made my purchase, she told me about the rewards program they have and wished me luck. I left with a huge smile, despite the semi-chaotic waiting room (which seems to be everyone's biggest complaint).

Some of the staff there need to realize that they're selling weed - and throw on a smile. Or I just got the really unhappy girl (curvy latina). Not at all helpful, terrible buttender approach. + They have a unnecessarily strict ID policy. Very Overpriced !

The people who work there are wonderful and polite. The weed is the worst weed I've ever smoked. I don't even write reviews but I'm In so much pain rn Ive been awake the last 5 hours bc I smoked again and have another demonic head ache from their weed!!! I smoked yesterday and same headache occurs from this weed. Ive literally never ever had headaches from weed! The worst part is I spent 60$ to suffer basically????

This is one of my favorite dispensaries, they have a bunch of different strains at a bunch of different prices. The veriety is amazing and the people who work there really know there stuff.

The Green Goddess is the TOPS! -- a truly fine dispensary -- one of the best in L.A.

At first when I came here, I was very excited to come back. The service was great, people very friendly and the medicine was very effective for my condition. Then the quality started to deteriorate in all aspects. The medicine that was dispensed was very dry. I found the flowers were not as potent. The stems dominated the flower. The service too deteriorated. The service the last 3 times has been cold. The quality of the flower even dryer and stemier. The thing that really turned me off is when I asked to check the density of a flower and the woman behind the counter said I could not touch it at all in a cold manner. She also did not inspect for stems that were more than obvious and when I advised I did not like a certain flower, she waived in my face and said what is wrong with this? In a very rudely manner. I probably will never go back. The last three times I had gone to this shop, I experienced low service standards and the medicine was dry and not as potent as what I experienced the first 20 times I had gone. I actually need this for a disorder I have. If I have to keep paying more money out of pocket and continuously buy more because of the lack of quality and to receive attitude that is completely uncalled for, I am not wasting my money nor my health.

First time and it was really awesome! Great service and great medicine!
