Maribis of Springfield (Recreational)

I’ve been coming here almost 3 years. (Medical) The staff is usually very friendly and helpful. Today was the first time I had come into the store since recreational has become available as my husband normally picks up what I need, but as I was having a “good day,” I went in myself. Oh boy- what changes have been made! It was nice to see everyone wearing their masks correctly, and most People were practicing social distancing. They are also keeping my go-to’s in stock for the most part. Lots of new staff to keep up with the recreational side of the business, as well as staff allowing me to skip the line as I was the only medical customer present at the time. Those are the good points. Now for the not so good. That parking lot...oh my! I didn’t think it could possibly get any worse, but I was wrong! But even that is not anything that would stop me from shopping at Maribis. It’s the noise. Or should I say music. It hits you as soon as you enter the waiting room. And it is loud. I must say it was good music, but very loud. And once you enter the store itself, it just continues. It used to be that if you asked/explained that you have a neurological disease, they would apologize and turn it down/off. Not today. I explained that I was a medical patient and the loudness was starting to bring on a flare. I was told that I was the only one who has ever complained about the music, and then she just shrugged her shoulders. Really? I’m the only one? I could see that if I was the only medical patient frequenting this dispensary, but surely that is not the case? I love music. But I can no longer listen to loud music. And this was apparently loud enough to set my head and involuntary movements off for the rest of the day. I don’t want to be “that person,” but if you’re going to sell to medical patients, maybe you ought to be a little more understanding of their needs. Or at least try to fake concern a little better. I am now going to have to try the other dispensary in the hopes that it is more considerate of medical patients needs. Which is unfortunate as the staff here has normally been very understanding.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn’t have any idea what I might need. The young lady that waited on me was very helpful in explaining everything to me and help me determine what would work best for me.

I've never been here but after looking at menus from other dispensaries it seems like this place has patients in mind. In a time like this it says a lot. Most places have the top of the line in stock which is nice but shake and popcorn are more in the budget these days. I might just make a trip.

this is the only place I have been but I love the service and a very comfortable atmosphere so I see no reason to go anywhere else and all the employees are very helpful explaining all the different products. and most of all it helps with my lower back and leg pain so I will continue going THANK YOU MARIBIS!!

The staff is amazing! Super helpful, however, since they became rec as a med patient Ive waited an hour before and on multiple occasions. They take rec before med. Too slow. They also took away the discounts. The product is always so low and I know there is a shortage, but when a dispensary across town has way more stock and hardly any wait that's where I will take my money.

The staff has been great both times I visited knowledgeable about the products and friendly. They have a limited selection for recreational but they do have good products. And it's always better to have smaller selection good products than lots of terrible product **ahem yeah I'm looking at you ozone/ascend/cresco** Strangely my Verano mag landrace vape cartridge didn't have a rubber cap on the cart but it was fine no leaks and not dried out or anything. Also it was still labeled as ATX instead of Verano. Prices were reasonable I saw a lot of complaints in other reviews and maybe prices have changed since I just now visited this dispensary. The tax is included in the prices so it is about $10 per flower 1/8 cheaper than the other springfield store and about $20 cheaper than the bloomington store. I think the staff is biggest asset and increasing the selection should be the main goal. Not sure how some stores can have so much flower avaliable and some receive so little.

First time to a dispensary after receiving my card, and my experience was top notch. I came in about 20 minutes before they closed; I didn’t feel rushed, they informed me about the process, and helped me find a few products. Wonderful selection!

Just switched over & I couldn’t be happier. Amazing staff, amazing selection... super convenient perk: they can tell you $$ as you go if you’re keeping track on finances. It was seriously so easy and pleasant!!!! Will recommend to everyone!

Great Atmosphere and service always!!...wouldn't change from Maribis ever even though it's a farther drive for me I don't care it's just worth it!!!...the whole staff is courteous and respectful of your needs!!..

Good place, maybe a bit heavy with the BG products but they're a good company. They also have Revolution products which to me are the best company products I've tried. I hope you guys carry Revolution in the future, I love that Clementine!

location is just 7 minutes from my house. It's fast and easy

I've been coming in regularly and I usually feel okay enough to go, but on Monday June 17 I was feeling wound up tighter than a really tight thing. I just wanted to say thank you for your employees.. They really go above and beyond.. I try my best when I'm in there to keep it together, but your staff has made it easier with everyday.. Thank you so much to you all! Scott

Liked speed, quality of concentrate and flower are best in Illinois, and parking is easy.

Maribis is a little out of the way but well worth it.

surrounding area seemed safe wasnt anything sketchy at all about the location,walking in i was greeted quickly and got checked in fast. the man that did my consultation was amazing, he was very patient and considerate of my needs. The sheer amount of info was overwhelming to me and i had to get him to slow down and not once did i ever get a impatient vibe or anything it was great and made me feel a lot more comfortable. i thought the amount of stuff they gave me was really nice and even the lady that brought the stuff out had a big smile and was very friendly.

Love the people very acceptance very helpful! I’ve never switched to another dispensary since the service is so excellent.

I'm happy Maribis was my first dispensary. They have the best deals. and prices I've found in central illinois. Always doing more than necessary to make me walk out smiling and happy to get my medication there.
