Ocean Greens

I live over in Sammamish but have driven over here on occasion to admire OG’s selection. Someone told me these guys have around 400 strains…and I think that’s about right. By far the best selection of any store, friendly staff, and great prices. I visited the store recently in the morning and the guy behind the counter/bar happily answered all my questions about edibles (bought the infused coffee + a few grams). Will definitely be back when I’m in the area again.

Usually I stick to my favorite medical shops but this morning I found myself running errands and without my doctor's Rec on me. so I stopped by Ocean Greens to grab some wax and see what their spot is like. I left happy and impressed. The budtender Brenna was helpful and friendly. She suggested some of their half grams that were on sale. they didn't look like anything special but when I got home and opened them up I was extremely happy with the pungent terpenes that greeted my senses. Thanks Brenna! and Thanks Ocean Greens! I'll be back soon since they're just down the street. hopefully they'll have Leafly Pre-order soon and then I'll never have to shop anywhere else!

Meh.

I was curious to try this place after realizing that their selection is enormous! They carry way more strains and edibles than any other shop I've visited (both in CO and WA). While I was impressed by product, the rest left much to be desired. There seemed to be no line system, people all just kinda stand around waiting. It felt more like you're at convenience store than a pot shop. The gentlemen that helped me didn't seem to know much about the different strains. Perhaps a con of having that large of a selection. Also parking kinda sucks, I almost got hit twice, both pulling up and leaving. I'd go again if I were already in the area and almost feel bad leaving this review because people seem to love this place. But I'll be sticking to places closer in my neighborhood next time.

This place has a pleasant atmosphere, the centerpiece being the bar counter and the friendly owner behind it. The half point missing from atmosphere is due to the hovery nature of the security guy, but that's partly forgivable due to it being the start of the soft launch of a business of this sort. As for the product, they have a nice little selection of edibles, flowers, little gizmos and glass. Price wise? They're in the first handful of 502 shops and so so much of the cost is tax and immature market structure that quibbling over it is pointless. For right now, come here to support one of the better examples of brick and morter legality.

The budtenders didn't really seem to know their products were not helpful, prices are very high w very no bulk options.. good selection of strains though, do your research ahead of time if you don't care about paying 20+tax per gram cuz the budtender was useless.. also they have stuff not on the menu

Friendly and helpful budtender. $35 + sales tax for 1/8 of Durban Poison...I'm going back before I leave town! THERE ARE AT LEAST 10 PARKING SPACES IN FRONT. How can you say there is no parking?

I LOVE it here! Friends always try to get me to try other places. But I never feel the need to try anywhere else. I'm always greeted with smiles. I feel loved, welcomed, & I'm always properly treated. Thank you Greens for coming to the area. Love you amd the whole team!!!!

I've been dabbling in rec stores and went to pick up a little indica. Staff was friendly but honestly talked my ear off which, combined with the amount of options, was overwhelming. I feel like I got upsold. Also, bring cash. I was told that the 2.95 ATM fee would be waved by BECU, but the employee was incorrect.

I was not happy with paying a crazy price for herb harvested over a year ago. The salesperson kept up selling me and after I asked about Bud specials they had several times I bought into what salesperson was saying just to be done with it. I should have walked out.

This place is set up kind of like a bar, tons of variety and the staff know their product. Like this place, it's great for a quick stop.

Wasn't too happy with my trip here. I'm a frequent medical dispensary customer and haven't been into a recreational store due to all the chatter about paying more for the product. So I looked at a menu and picked out a strain that I'd like to check out. It came to huge surprise that you cannot smell the product before you buy it. I mean, I wouldn't buy pants if I couldn't try them on first ya know? I was hounded by another budtender, very defensive, "We are NOT a dispensary." The budtender that was helping me further explained that it would ultimately that they had over 140 strains and that it would take too long for people to come in and smell product, buy, and leave. I reluctantly bought some of their Big Buddha Cheese. I opened it right when I got home and was not pleasant with the smell. It smoked okay, but did not pack a great flavor. So basically from my visit, I understand that this dispensary has little concern for the quality of product that they out out, and want to get their customers in and out as fast as possible.

Busy when I came by. Still searching for the ultimate strain but I really enjoyed the cherry pie sam recommended. Been slow to embrace the rec stores after a couple mediocre experiences, but I'll definitely come back here. Decent product/good prices from what I tried. Nice, knowledgeable staff like Sam make all the difference when trying to wade through that many choices

I specifically asked if they had a Sativa Strain in there $8.00 a gram special. I was given Coogies and gold that's all they had left for Sativa. Today looked up the strain and it is Indica. I feel completely out of it. Please know your strains before selling them. I will never again rely on information from the bud tender before buying. I will do the research myself. Lesson learned .

Sam the bud tender was very knowledgeable and a big help finding the strains that would suit me best. As well as a good sense of humor, a good attitude, and easy on the eyes 😉 Had a good variety of strains with pretty good quality. The prices were right. However I didn't like the fact that there weren't any punch cards for return customers. I will most likely visit the store again, because it has a good vibe that i like. Also because Sam is awesome😜

Ocean Greens has become my go-to weed store. I live in a neighborhood where I have several choices closer than the OG location but OG wins on selection and pricing. They seriously can offer you choices and any subtle variation in weed you might be looking for. Weekdays are an awesome time to drop by and take your time. Beware the Friday night after work rush: being right on Aurora, everyone stops by on the way home.

Really liked the budtender that helped me there, can't remember her name though. She was short and sweet and helped me find some CBD flower by Phat Panda. The store had a nice atmosphere but none of the bud is on display so it was hard to browse without interacting. I didn't mind it that day but I usually like to browse a bit.

Ocean Greens is my only store. I look around at Leafly and there is no reason to go anywhere else. I use their native website at http://oceangreensseattle.com/ It works flawlessly and my orders are SO ready that I have to make excuses to socialize with their wonderful staff. Like most of Seattle, the neighborhood is scruffy. The owners are on top of it. Let's hope for the day when these Official WA State Licensed and hugely TAX-paying stores get fair banking services so they don't have to be guarded like Ft. Knox. We customers are also TAX-paying customers who expect that such heavily regulated services would also be kept safe. I bet the old WSLCB stores had funded security. Even credit card processing!
