It's crazy that there is a line of 50+ at times - recreational use should be similar to being able to purchase alcohol. I've driven down from NH to be turned away "medical only" due to lack of supply. I think the quality of the product is great, quality of the experience of waiting outside is ridiculous. Need to either enlarge this place or open more locations!

Hey there fellow cannabis enthusiasts!
I’ve been coming to lowell patriot care for the last year, and they continue to provide excellent product, customer service, and a nice atmosphere to make a cannabis purchase.
The customer service rep Jason is my favorite worker there, who is just a nice chill guy, with a lot of knowledge on strains, and medical benefits,

Been there multiple times and it seen like everyone is in a bad mood. Just the way the speak. Arrogant like you work at a dispensary you should be the happiest person in the world. You guess need to get tips on customer service and vibe from dracut RISE decent quality better vibes CANNABIST lowell better quality crap vibes.

Really upset. I ordered way earlier in the day. I was never informed that the 8th I ordered was not available. Can send a text that my order was ready but that the bud I wanted was not available.

This review comes from someone who has been to this store many times as well as many others... I actually like Patriot Care so I will give you the reasoning for my reviews. The reason for the atmosphere reading being low is because they're is no reason that you should have to wait in line for 30-60 minutes when they could easily add the pick up option Judy like most other places. The employees are great and that's the only reason for the 3 on service, otherwise it would be a 1. Inventory is inconsistent at best and they really cater to the medical patients and the rec side of things is line rolling the dice if you want something in particular. I rated ths quality high because when they actually doi carry the products that I like they afte of high quality.

Good quality products
I ordered online and they contacted me through text that an item wasn’t available. I was fine with that and just asked what time I should come. They responded by “its ready now”. I thought that meant come. When I got there they told me it wasn’t ready. I should of responded more through text. I’m just a little dumb sometimes. But they were kind and let me go in to get my products. It was all good. I’ll get my weed here again. This time I know what to do.

I wrote a review here back in June, but I am writing another as a medical patient (I usually go to a med dispensary in Somerville near where I work.)
Service and quality: The staff/POS reps are very nice and informative. Last time I went I was offered a surprise coupon deal (Monday wheel-spin!) and I had a good conversation with the cashiers working that day. Was fast and convenient. Product is fresh and good quality. I also really appreciate the double-sealed bags included with edibles––I don't have any children or dogs, but these safety precautions are imperative for patients who do have little ones and furry friends at home. The Somerville dispensary that I usually hit up has never included double-sealed bags with purchases.
Sustainability: I love that Patriot Care offers discounts as an incentive to recycle containers and double-sealed bags in-store. Again, the Somerville dispensary I typically go to doesn't offer any in-store recycling. Whether customers receive a discount or not, I think all dispensaries should provide recycling disposal for used containers. Medical and rec user friends of mine have expressed feeling embarrassed or unsure of how to dispose containers used for cannabis products. I just toss mine in my recycling bin for weekly waste pickup, but not everyone will necessarily feel comfortable with disposing their containers at home. I highly recommend (and hope) that all dispensaries will provide more sustainable options for patients in the future.
Accessibility: Delivery options should be made more explicit to create a more equitable and accessible treatment experience for all. Med patient access is relatively accessible, but I think Patriot Care would benefit from advertising medical delivery more explicitly. I am able-bodied and can access transportation to leave my house, so this has not been an inconvenience for me. However, this is a serious accessibility issue for patients and caregivers who experience limited mobility and access to their treatment.
Health and sanitation: Patriot Care staff should be more mindful of health and safety hazards that could harm patients. When I arrived here as a first-time medical patient (the week of 1/20/2021) the receptionist was polite and responsive, but there was an open Red Bull can sitting on the desk-ledge where patients sign paperwork. In the midst of the COVID pandemic, this is especially concerning for medical patients who may have underlying health conditions or are immunocompromised. Regardless of whether or not we are living through a pandemic, leaving out open food and drink containers is unsanitary and unprofessional.
