RISE Dispensaries Lakewood (Detroit)

Great place, needs to have more Indica strains such as Purple Kush, and Harlequin!

Friendly and helpful staff. I heard a negative comment about this location but it’s my favorite dispensary now. Although it’s disappointing they quit doing the 20% off all products Tuesday.

This is my second favorite dispensary. They usually have a good selection of quality products, but sometimes the prices seem a little high.

Going to ANY Rise dispensary always amps up my anxiety. The ride starts with attempting to reserve an order on their slow and barely responsive website. Choosing items is a long and frustrating process. Clicking anything takes 8 seconds to even start loading the request. After waiting four score for the product to load you realize that there are no product descriptions or even a list of the terpenes for the items. The in-store experience is always awkward and uncomfortable. The tiny "waiting room" allows those inside an opportunity to get way too close to total strangers (Pandemic anyone?). More than 5 people ahead of you and you're waiting outside - rain, snow or 94 degree shine. Which brings me to the whole "pre-order" illusion. After the agony of fighting with the website you STILL HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE!!! Um...so preordering is just making it easier for the employees to get orders ready? Awesome. There are no advantages for the patients what so ever? Awesome. Also there's a "rewards program" that I have yet to see in effect. I was told by their help desk that I was signed up but the page for points never loads. I will say that the staff are pretty friendly, with the exception of some of the check-in attendants. 2 RISE-ing stars doods.

I stopped by Rise on Detroit in Lakewood this morning 8-15-24 and had a wonderful experience. The person who checked me in John V was welcoming and efficient. I have been coming to this location for the last 2 years and because of people like him, I will continue to do so.
