I was greeted at door by a very nice, friendly gentleman. I was escorted to room to provide my info. I left the room and was seen immediately by a consultant, Stephen (pronounced Steven). Stephen was great! Friendly and very knowledgeable. He took wonderful care of me. I was in and out within 30 minutes, not bad for 1st visit! The dispensary is clean, bright, and nicely decorated. All of the employees are nice and friendly. They have the most extensive inventory of any dispensary I have frequented. I highly recommend Takoma Wellness!!!

Great service friendly staff and great prices

After going to Takoma Wellness yesterday, I have no intention of going to any other dispensary in the Maryland/DC area. Everything and everyone was personable, knowledgeable and the environment was perfect, I love the mom and pop vibe and history. I had the pleasure of dealing with Judith Ayers for my actual order and she was so great I was looking all over for a tip jar only to find out they don’t take them, since it was my first time at a DC dispensary the menu was soooo different and Judith took the time to hear strains that I like and match them to them to strains they carry and she did an excellent job of listening, explaining and helping me make great selections.

This location is perfect for me. It's only a 2-5 min drive and a 45 min walk from my house. Customer service is top shelf.

My first visit was like a culture shock. When people say “family owned” you’ll be like “oh ok.. cool” but when you actually feel it you can tell it’s real. I tend to try dispensaries out of my immediate area on weekends and my intention was just to get something to hold me over until Monday then I seen the selection. Coming from Maryland they had a few items I had never seen on a menu so I was like a kid in a candy store but on a budget. The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable, if I asked about it they gave me every detail they knew. Even the parking lot attendant helped guide me in my parking spot. So I might have to change my routine and just stock up on weekends or just bare the traffic during the week but I’ll be back!

This Family Owned Dispensary is the first I visited in the DC area when medical arrived and it remains at the Top of my list. Always having a great experience when stopping by, Takoma Wellness never ceases to disappoint. Friendly faces, knowledgable staff, and warm coffee = a recipe for success! Tazz is always super helpful and provides great recommendations, however the entire staff is wonderful. 5 STARS!

I visited Tacoma Wellness Center about a month ago and I must say that it was well worth the trip from Pennsylvania!! Being that there’s a big shortage on medical cannabis in my home state, I decided to take a chance and travel to DC as soon as I found out that they reciprocated mmj patients from PA. That’s saying a lot especially since I suffer from PTSD and rarely leave the comforts of my home!! I was amazed at how welcomed I felt the minute I walked through the door and even more impressed with the expansive menu!! I also have to give HUGE props to Paula!! She was extremely helpful and most importantly, her knowledge of medical cannabis is unparalleled to what’s currently available in PA. She understood that I was not just looking for high thc strains to catch a buzz and that I was looking to treat my various medical conditions. I have yet to encounter this in PA. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the DC area. In fact, I’m making another road trip this weekend!!!!

Absolutely the best place to shop!! I really miss this location for there exceptional management and abundantly friendly staff. I have not been there since mid November and I miss it daily. I neglected to renew my license in time due to money constraints around the holidays. Was having a scheduling problem getting to my provider for a renewal document. Finally made it there in February. Still waiting for my license. Hope to visit the store asap! Thanks for all the hard work and being the best!

Takoma Wellness gives me excellent customer service and quality products. I'm never disappointed with anything I purchase for this dispensary. The pricing is reasonable, and there are always sales. I appreciate the Jackson Coverage oil that they provide to minors to treat their conditions because it has helped out my daughter a lot over the last two years.

Love this place, especially their mission statement. The flower is very fresh, great variety! I come from Baltimore, did preorder this time... very easy!
