The New Amsterdam

This is my most favorite #1 big Ole juicy dispensary. Ambience + quality at such good prices. I walk out of 90% of the dispensaries I check out but now I know where to go. Ask for Raven, as she is the best budtender both sides of the Mississippi + tell her what's up. Xox

New Amsterdam is my neighborhood weed shop and I'm a big fan. The staff is super nice and helpful. They also have a new system going on where they have sales of 30% off of certain items. I've been smoking for years and I feel that I've finally found a good home base shop. Top marks!!

This dispensary is immaculate and the atmosphere is very clean and professional. The staff are knowledgable and patient. I wish the prices were lower but the quality is some of the finest I have seen and consumed.

This place is classy looking, but museum like. I don't want to touch anything for fear of being yelled at or leaving prints. There was literally no one in there which was a first for me, every dispensary I have been to has someone in it. They have the tiniest little bottles for the bud and they use a comical size pair of tweezers to measure out the bud...ifs teduous as well as humorous. They had some of the most potent product though, they don't play here. Expensive, heavy hitters are what you will find here.

Skyler made my experience, his knowledge and guidance led me to the perfect product! Great staff, great atmosphere, with a flower, extract, edible and cartridge selection to satisfy the most high-browed Cannaseur.

One of the best dispensaries I have ever been to. Plenty of choices with a wide range of prices, and an atmosphere like a high-end dispensary. Bear was exceptionally helpful, they worked with us as we were deciding between different strains. I will make this my regular place for concentrates, and I will see how their flower is next time.

I bought clones from here and was very underwhelmed with their quality. The girl at the counter told us that they had been cut off from the parent plant a week ago but when I took them home, I found a tag that said it had been a month since they were potted. My one clone is root bound due to this and is no longer growing. I would not have purchased it if I was told it had been a month since it was potted.

A nice shop with a good selection and competitive prices. Gwen and Skyler are knowledgeable and reliable for recommendations.

Really enjoyed my trip here. Employee that helped me was excellent and answered all my dumb questions. I'll definitely be checking back.

Pretty great selection. This is my first time living in a legal state, and Gwen helped me with all sorts of questions about products I had never seen before. She was able to steer me towards some great products for pain relief. Would shop here again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this New dispensary. the first interaction with the receptionist was excellent, she mentioned they had just opened and I stated that's why it seems so white. the attendants in the b(l)ack room were very attentive to me their first customer of the morning. they were ALL very friendly. helped me find specials quickly. further the woman who seemed to be in charge or at least the most knowledgeable exercised her expertise in concentrate consumption by mentioning they are one of the few locations in this city to order my preferred brand prescribed by the doctor. she was very courteous and smart in E cigs and consumption in general. she was also kind enough to give me a free sweatshirt because she was either just nice or reimbursing me for the fact that they only had 1 1$ pre Rolled. regardless this is one of the best dispensaries I've been to in Portland. my only problem is that I didn't grab one of the beautiful employees numbers!
