this is my neighborhood shop, which I somehow didn't know existed, and now I'm in love! I always forget my edible bag and they don't charge, which is so nice of them (but please don't be me and bring yours!). They've got a great selection and are super friendly. Props to Gwendolyn for being a kind hearted rock star.

Gwendolyn was an amazing budtender!She displayed a wealth of product knowledge that made my purchase very easy. The selection was great; I was quite impressed with their selection of flowers, concentrates, and edibles. Keep up the great work!

I really enjoy the staff they are always super friendly. The prices are superb and it’s never a stressful environment. Nathan and Gwendolyn have helped me out more than half the times i have been there so shoutout to them. You can’t go wrong with New Amsterdam.

My first visit to a dispensary today was great! I turned 21 yesterday and Adam made going to a pot shop for the first time so fun, and he didnt feel stupid when i asked all my questions lol! Great flower and ive already eaten my cookie so we will see where it gets me when it kicks in! Will for sure be returning

This place is everthing I want in a dispensary, clean environment, cookies, chocolate, a couch to roll a joint on... Gwendolyn is always super helpful and gave me a cute lighter. 10/10

I bought clones from here and was very underwhelmed with their quality. The girl at the counter told us that they had been cut off from the parent plant a week ago but when I took them home, I found a tag that said it had been a month since they were potted. My one clone is root bound due to this and is no longer growing. I would not have purchased it if I was told it had been a month since it was potted.

I was pleasantly surprised by this New dispensary. the first interaction with the receptionist was excellent, she mentioned they had just opened and I stated that's why it seems so white. the attendants in the b(l)ack room were very attentive to me their first customer of the morning. they were ALL very friendly. helped me find specials quickly. further the woman who seemed to be in charge or at least the most knowledgeable exercised her expertise in concentrate consumption by mentioning they are one of the few locations in this city to order my preferred brand prescribed by the doctor. she was very courteous and smart in E cigs and consumption in general. she was also kind enough to give me a free sweatshirt because she was either just nice or reimbursing me for the fact that they only had 1 1$ pre Rolled. regardless this is one of the best dispensaries I've been to in Portland. my only problem is that I didn't grab one of the beautiful employees numbers!

Pretty great selection. This is my first time living in a legal state, and Gwen helped me with all sorts of questions about products I had never seen before. She was able to steer me towards some great products for pain relief. Would shop here again.

New Amsterdam is a might fine place. This is one of my local neighborhood shops that I have seen grow leaps and bounds since it first opened. They carry the good oils like Golden and have tasty Chalice Farms gummies and chocolates. Also, they have a card Linx that allows you to use your debit card. Way to be trail blazers in the industry. Keep up the great work!!

this is technically my neighborhood shop. for awhile now though it had fallen out of my rotation. I absolutely hate any place that advertises pre-tax prices. it's just not the norm and comes across in bad taste. with that said... they have an excellent selection of concentrates and flower at some of the lowest prices I've seen. (even after the tax) Nathaniel seems to always be there and is lovely young man. this guy knows his product, seems to genuinely enjoy the cannabis industry and his job, while always handling this sometimes cantankerous old stoner with ease. the place feels lighter, brighter and generally fitting into the neighborhood better...

Gwendolyn, our budtender, was the best! She was patient, knowledgeable, and informative. One of my favorite budtenders ever!

Really enjoyed my trip here. Employee that helped me was excellent and answered all my dumb questions. I'll definitely be checking back.
