Cannabis-Infused Honey Mustard

Cannabis-infused honey mustard couldn’t be easier to make and it’s a great addition to BBQ staples like burgers and hot dogs, or you can use it as a dip for pretzels or incorporate it into a vinaigrette.

For this recipe, we used Leafly’s recipe for cannabis-infused honey and then diluted it with plain honey. The resulting honey mustard is fairly low dose* (approximately 5mg of THC per tablespoon), though its strength will depend on the potency of your honey infusion and can be adjusted accordingly.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup whole grain mustard
  • ½ cup dijon mustard
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons cannabis-infused honey
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients and whisk together until smooth

Yield: 1½ cup of honey mustard

Tips for Dosing Cannabis Infusions

The potency of your infusions depends on many factors, from how long and hot it was cooked to the potency of your starting material. To test the potency of your finished product, try spreading ¼ or ½ teaspoon on a snack and see how that dose affects you after an hour. Decrease or increase dose as desired. You can then use this personalized “standard” dose as a baseline for your recipes. Click here for more information on why potency is so difficult to measure in homemade cannabis edibles.
