They're doing a great job getting everyone their meds with covid and everything going on. Can't beat the prices. I've seen a lot of dispensaries create tiers that didn't have them, making it cost more or just raising prices, but not here. Pretty much my one stop shop now.
First of all I wanted to thank Yvette for being a genuinely OUTSTANDING budtender. When I told her about some information I had found out about she seemed as interested to know as I was to tell her. I love expanding my knowledge, especially through people, and especially about medicinal cannabis!
She was very patient while I looked through your collection of flower,
(it's getting pretty impressive and harder and harder to choose, in a good way, with strains consistently testing in the low to mid 20s% for thc and VERY FEW dispensaries test for CBC, CBG, CBN, THC-V, or really anything other than thc and cbd... IF AT ALL.. oh and MAYBE terpenes), and she was also very helpful in getting my questions answered.
Despite my not-so-great experiences in the past here, I would definitely send someone to HER specifically, if that were possible, and I can definitely say I had a positive experience last time.
It can be somewhat challenging to find a good budtender sometimes, and my experience can be TOTALLY different at the same dispensary just based on who I got that day.
Also I'd like to leave a strain review for the Filthy Animal strain.
I really enjoyed it, it has a very piney and sweet smell, and when you break it up, it really brings out the sweetness in the smell.
I've noticed many of the more potent strains don't burn to white ash all the way, and from what I've read this usually indicates an issue with flushing the nutrients right before harvest; this strain was quite potent for burning up so nicely to a VERY light gray/white ash (not flushing nutrients can boost THC levels sometimes also, but it's NOT what you wanna be smoking).
I didn't get much in the taste department and to me seems like it could've been cured better (either longer, better humidity/temp control, whatever the issue may be)... It's also possible it had been in the package a while as it was fairly dry.
Overall I was VERY happy with the Filthy Animal flower.
In general, it varies by strain and batch, but I've had my card for my 4th year now and tried lots of dispensaries. I'd rate their quality as between 7/10 and 10/10 just depending on all the different factors. And for 50$ quarters, which is what it works out to with the 200$ mix and match oz deal (down to the 1/8th!), that is hard to beat! And they test.
Thanks again to Yvette, I can't emphasis enough how great my experience was!
Overall, great prices and quality if you know/can find what you like.
ONE last thing I just remembered.. I tried some of their RSO capsules (which are a GREAT deal for the 30 pack). I use MCT oil at home anyway so I found it convenient that they use MCT oil also. I will have to review those separately, I haven't been able to evaluate them properly yet, but my first dose went very well.
It's a shame, this would've been a rave review for your MyRSO...
20% off edibles for one of your Wednesday deals, call to find out (luckily) because you don't consider RSO an edible?? (Yet it was for valentine's day...)
May I ask what it is then?
Also how do you take yours?
The only proper I'm aware of is EATING it, hence the name "edible".
It's not a 'concentrate' either, as it doesn't fall under that category of discounts either...
You could have a regular RSO customer but seeing 20% off edibles, get all medically ready to go (which isn't easy for me) and now it's not an edible?
You guys do have a decent price on RSO, but your flower is almost double what I pay for 5% higher thc flower another place.. their shatter also is half the price of your bho, and it's a far superior, super chilled ethanol process (claiming to be proprietary but whatever, it's imo as good or better the hands co2 even, def bho).
And kief is 10$ a gram at another place.
The ONLY thing you guys have that I want is RSO... I normally buy other deals anyway cuz I like trying things out, but today I won't even be buying because everything goes on sale except that.
What a pity.
How are you guys commenting on the strength.. "highest trichome count"... I knew what you meant but they don't even test do they? It's not on the website or anywhere I could see... when i shop at places that test I go by the results even over the smell and look sometimes and never have been disappointed that way...
Can't say the same here, it's a crap shoot...
Mediocre ftp special
Purchased at Arizona Organix in Glendale, AZ. "Coal Creek Kush" or Cold Creek Kush as its calles, has a very dark greenish, almost brown look from a distance, but upon closer inspection, underneath the darker sugar and little bits of fan leaf is lime-green buds and calyxes, covered in trichomes. The dark orange hairs contribute to its dark green appearance. The smell is almost between very rich potting soil and fresh mushrooms in a pine forest.. very earthy. Also piney flavors and quite tasty although saying it tasted like dirt sounds horrible, it was kind of something you have to experience... nice mellow high but in no way over-powering.
Very functional while still being able to medicate.
No wonder they are selling shake so cheap on their special... let's just say, definitely not for those who enjoy the taste or quality of their medicine.. I regret getting it.
