I went to my first dispensary ever two weeks ago. I chose NeTA because of the reviews and it was the closest location. I was nervous the entire hour drive down there and upon arrival this feeling increased, partially because of all the cars in the parking lot and the half dozen people standing out front of the building. It was a little intimidating. One person is admitted through the door at a time which probably adds to the "crowd" outside and I felt a bit better about that once I saw the sign. I had no clue about the security measures to get inside but once I was "in" the staff were beyond helpful,knowledgeable, and kind. It made me feel confident in my initial purchase and eased my anxiety about "not being the type" who would get marijuana. I smoked in college but never really liked it (always got too anxious/paranoid) and was steered towards products that wouldn't promote anxiety. My general anxiety that manifests into anger has been better since and I've slept the best I have in years! I'd have given 5 stars if the initial arrival wasn't so intimidating (knowledge about the security checks on the website woulda been nice to add ) and the flowers I got were drier than I had expected. I don't know if that is strain specific or not but I'm "used to" seeing or having had sticky flowers in the past. The effects of the strains I got ( AC/DC, grape stomper, master just and some 2mg gems) have been fantastic.
