Remedy Tulalip
10/28/2020
{[PROS:]} 1. Convenient location | 2. Beautiful, clean store | 3. Plenty of close, lit parking | 4. Staff is friendly. | 5. Since COVID-19, ordering online is now possible. | 6. Daily "discounts" {[CONS]} 1. Prices average 30 - 50% higher than several shops within 10 miles east or south. | 2. Purchase reward system garners future discounts that can only be applied to overpriced non-sale items. | 3. Do you know how to track the reward points you've earned? | 4. Their budtender's knowledge of strain genealogy is remiss with many seeming fairly clueless. | 5. $58 0.50g cartridges (vapor) have absolutely NO warranty. | 6. Daily discounts don't mitigate the inflated prices. | 7. Descriptions on store page tell nothing of genealogy, and sometimes listed THC/CBD % are incorrect. | 8. No discount for online orders, though it saves them time = money. | 9. Many of their strains have unusual names, with no reviews, no genealogy information, and no way of knowing the effects. << Living close to Remedy Tulalip, and being a sucker for convenience, I've spent well over a thousand dollars there within the past couple of years; usually visiting semimonthly at various times of day/night. Sometimes I thought I'd found some really good deals. Then I tried a few other stores in the area and learned those "really good deals" from Remedy were only good within their product/pricing ecosystem, which is unfortunately quite inflated. >> Quality = 3 (of 5) stars / Service = 2 stars / Atmosphere = 4 stars / averaging to 3 stars. If it were up to me I'd also add a price rating, to which I'd attribute 2 stars, which brings the average to 2.75 stars total. I wouldn't recommend this as a home store, but more like pit stop or convenience store with prices reflective of such.
