Very nice hybrid. Tastes piney and is very good for pain relief. Hard to find but definitely pick it up if you can!
Great strain, I felt relaxed and stress free. I got lost in whatever activity I was doing.
I got it in pho-wax made by nomad extracts. Smelled like mothballs and tasted like sushi with wasabi. Not in a good way lol but the high was pleasant, gentle and relaxing
Wow!! As a transplant to Colorado via FL, I was looking for a good OG that was pure gas with some chem qualities that just got you really medicated and feeling well and happy and the Aspen does just that and more!! It’s a Sour Diesel and G13/Haze “DNA’s ‘Sour Cream’ project” crossed to the classic heavy pinesol scented SFV OG powerhouse. Somehow, this winds up smelling like pawpaw taking a fresh poop on the side of a highway, while buzzards are feasting on skunk roadkill. It’s gassy, sour, skunky, and piney in that particular order for me for some reason…anyway, this is one you gotta try if you like old school dank that reminds you of classics like Sour D, OG Kush, Chem varieties and skunks. Cant recommend this enough, I love the taste the smell of it coming off a joint, the breakdown is nice as the nugs aren’t too dense and are light green, Christmas tree shaped with fire red pistils and sooo many white trichomes laden on the bud, that it similarly looks like the mountains of Aspen in the wintertime! It’s not the exotic, za za ‘standard’ for modern day smokers, it’s made for those that enjoy the older strains that have fallen out of popularity, but never out of style. I was lucky enough to be gifted a clone of this plant, and on the cultivation side, she is a pleasure to grow and stays pretty happy, green and healthy. She likes a lot of space to spread her roots also & clones really easily. Overall, Aspen Og for me is 5/5 easily for a multitude of reasons many of which I listed. To novice users new to smoking, tread lightly as she is potent and sure to send you on a one way rocket to Space Mountain real quick, so strap in and you have been warned, hehe! Also, one more thing to note, if your not a fan of skunky strains or modern day GMO hybrids or just stinky, skunky flower in general it’s not for you.
I purchased a gram of live rosin of this strain by Leiffa. The initial taste is that of deemsters. Very interesting. Smooth and earthy flavor, expansive and relaxing high. I like it.
One of my favorite cartridges from the Newt Brothers. Very focused and diligent high. Awesome for getting tasks done with an smile on your face!
Really great uplifting high. I felt my anxiety leave and the productivity kick in. Big fan of SFV so I wasn’t surprised when I loved this one so much. I did experience both the productive high as well as the relaxed high. Totally recommend for sativa lovers or anyone who likes a positive and lighthearted high.
I feel as if you take a moderate dose of this strain you will feel more energetic and creative, but a heavy dose will bring out more indica heavy-sedated effects. Can’t go wrong with this one in my opinion, 5/5
