Yum yum guys you gotta trust in the power of raspberry kush. I’m high as hell and there is no pain, no muscle aches, man there is nothing too crazy. Tho it can make you so ecstatic that you start thinking about the moment of death while taking thirty thousand selfies. So if you are scared of death, don’t smoke this? Although it’s good for anxiety. Better for sleep. Always good for sleep. Can’t sleep? Have some blackberry kush.
Hallelujah , may the lord be with thee

One of my favorite strains. So nice to just sit back, smoke, eat, chill and fall asleep.
This is a review for Revolution Cannabis Blackberry Kush, purchased at an Illinois Dispensary. Clocking in at 1.05 THC, 21.35 THCA and 0.64 CBN. Listed total of 23.21 Cannabinoids. I have supposedly had this strain at least once before somewhat recently, but that was purchased on the black market. That sample was likely grown in Colorado and old, likely stuff that didn't sell on the Colorado market. This stuff was packaged 9/14/2018, a little old for my liking.
Price: 40.00 for 3.5 grams.
Looks: Bud structure screams KUSHHH!!! Tight buds that tend to be on the small side. These aren't popcorn nugs though. These are covered in resin, which does impact the flavor as I will explain later. Light green color, but not neon green. It looks like an earthy green. It's slightly lighter then I thought it would be expected, but this pheno leans towards Blackberry. Not many hairs. So basically the color/look of the Blackberry but with a kush structure.
Smell: Blackberry is the dominant smell, which makes for the pheno. The other sample I have had had much more of a hashy/spicy/kushy/ghani smell. This smells lighter, fruiter and with a hash/sandalwood backdrop when the bud is pressed or broken up.
Cure smells good, no noticeable hay smell. There have been a few times where I have got product that has been cured poorly in Illinois, but never with Revolution. Nice and clean smell, doesn't smell salty or overfed.
Taste: The inhale is extremely smooth for a Blackberry pheno. The previous sample I had to this had a very hashy flavor, but this has a smoother and lighter sandalwood/hash flavor on the inhale. After that, the berry takes over (and it does lean towards Blackberry). A waterpipe is recommended due to the resin on this one, which I do believe contributes to the hashy/kief flavor. A little bit of fuel/gas ... Again, this pheno leans towards the Blackberry.
Effect: This particular pheno should be listed more of an indica dominant hybrid. Revolution states something about "The pheno keeps one more mentally awake while relaxing them physically". That basically summarizes it. Even the labs reflect this, the CBD related numbers are lower then I would expect. This one doesn't make you super sleepy. Its great for weekends or afternoons. I was slightly disappointed that this one didn't lean more towards the Afghani when I first purchased this but after trying it I was glad that Revolution brought something a little unique to the table. Also, this one will be fun to breed with for them.
I think many Illinois producers are having to start from seed rather then cut, which is why our phenos around here sometimes tend to differ slightly from the same strain on the West Coast.

Very good Indica for sleep
Blackberry Kush is a beautiful bud, with its deep green and purple hues. It's almost a shame to burn it. As you might expect, it smells and tastes very strongly of blackberries, but surprisingly, it lacks sweetness. Its round, soft, slightly tart smoke is perfect to enjoy late at night. It's a classic for a good reason.
was very good
